How to connect to the MTC

Connecting your PC

1. Plug the PC node into your PC via the provided USB cable.
2. Connect the PC node into your MTC via the RJ45 or RJ12 cable as appropriate.
3. Plug the power supply cable into your MTC.
4. Log-in to your PC and open System Builder (SB).
5. If SB does not automatically connect, select Tools > Connect.
6. Confirm successful connection.

Note: Your PC node should have a blue endplate. Check the driver is working in Windows Device Manager (Driver 1.8.0 or later from the prolific site). If it has a black endplate, this is not compatible with Windows 8.1 or later.
