Safety Information

Before using the device, please read the following precautions to ensure optimal performance and prevent potential hazards.

  1. All accessories of this device are not edible. Please prevent children from ingesting them accidentally.
  2. The device and its accessories may contain small parts. Keep the device and its accessories out of reach of children to avoid unintentional damage or ingestion of small parts, which may lead to choking or other dangers.
  3. Use the device within the temperature range of 0°C to 40°C and store it and its accessories within the temperature range of -10°C to +45°C. Operating the device in excessively high or low temperatures may result in malfunctions.
  4. Avoid intentionally submerging, soaking, or exposing the device and its accessories to prolonged water, rain, or moisture to prevent device malfunctions.
  5. Keep the device and its batteries away from heat sources, high temperatures, and direct sunlight. Do not throw the device or batteries into fire, crush or modify the device, insert foreign objects into it, or immerse it in hot water or other liquids to prevent battery leakage, overheating, fire, or explosion.
  6. Do not modify the device or replace its accessories without authorization. When replacing the battery, use the same model (CR2032) and capacity, and observe the correct polarity. Using the wrong battery type may pose a risk of fire or electric shock.
  7. Place batteries out of the reach of children and avoid swallowing them. If a battery is ingested or inserted into the body, seek medical attention immediately. Ingesting a battery may cause severe chemical burns within two hours, leading to serious injury or death.
  8. In very dry environments, the product is more prone to static electricity. To minimize the risk of static discharge, avoid using the device in extremely dry conditions or touch grounded, unpainted metal objects before use.
  9. When it is necessary to discard or dispose of the device, follow local regulations for proper disposal of the device, batteries, and other accessories. Do not treat them as household waste, as improper disposal may result in battery explosions.

Battery Installation

To install or replace the battery:

  1. Place the product with the battery cover facing upwards in the palm of your hand, align the rear cover tab with the groove on the battery cover, then rotate counterclockwise and release after rotating. (Hold with both palms and rotate counterclockwise, then release after rotation is complete.)
  2. Remove the back cover.
  3. Insert the CR2032 battery into the device with the positive side (+) facing up.
  4. Place the battery back cover on the product.
  5. Place the product with the battery cover facing upwards in the palm of your hand, align the rear cover tab with the groove on the battery cover, then rotate clockwise until the rotation is complete. (Hold with both palms and rotate clockwise until the rotation is complete.)
    Note: Please use the correct model of battery. Replacing with an incorrect battery may pose a risk of fire and electric shock.

Bind The Product

Attention:

  1. This product only supports binding with petgugu water dispensers or feeders version V1.1 and above. Please confirm the version of the water dispenser or feeder before binding.
  2. If there are multiple water dispensers or feeders under the same APP account, it is only necessary to bind one of the devices.
  3. Any one of the following binding methods can be chosen for binding.

Regular Binding:

  1. Please confirm that the product has been started normally.
  2. Place the product next to the water dispenser or feeder connected to the APP for pairing, and open the Petgugu APP.
  3. Scoop some water from the water dispenser or take some pet food from the feeder’s food bowl.
  4. Wait for the Petgugu APP to detect the data and pop up the binding prompt. Follow the binding instructions to complete the binding.
    If the binding steps are correct, and the version of the water dispenser feeder is V1.1, but the binding fails, you can restart the product or the water dispenser feeder and try binding again.

Scan to Bind:

  1. Open the product battery cover.
  2. Open the petgugu APP, click on ‘+ Add Device’ on the ‘Devices’ page to enter the device adding page.
  3. Click to add recognizer, enter the scanning code interface.
  4. Scan the QR code engraved inside the product battery compartment, then follow the instructions on the page to bind.
