Product Information

The ZX8SP 8-Zone Expansion Module V5.0 serves as an interface between the control panel and hardwired detection devices. It provides eight additional hardwired inputs and one 50 mA on-board PGM output. Please note that the ZX8SP does not support ATZ or fire zone connections.

Installation

  1. Connect the ZX8SP to the control panel’s combus.
  2. Ensure proper power supply within the specified input voltage range.
  3. Connect the hardwired detection devices to the ZX8SP input terminals according to the control panel’s Programming Guide.

Jumper Settings
To change jumper settings, press the Disable Locate button located on the module. Use the provided guide to set jumpers based on your panel configuration.

Output Configuration
The on-board PGM output provides a maximum of 50 mA. If more current is needed, use a 12 Vdc relay.

Anti-Tamper Switch
Input terminal Z1 can be utilized as an anti-tamper switch input.

The 8-Zone Expansion Module (ZX8SP) is an interface between the control panel and any hardwired detection devices. The ZX8SP connects to the control panel’s combus to provide eight additional hardwired inputs and one 50 mA on-board PGM output. The ZX8SP does not support ATZ or fire zone connections.
