Improper installation will void the manufacturer’s warranty. This installation guide does not apply to all types of vehicles and serves only as a general system installation guide. If you are unsure about installing the device yourself, please consult an experienced technician. Be sure to read and understand local laws and regulations regarding cameras and their use in vehicles. Laws may vary by state. Do not obstruct your view of the road or interfere with the proper deployment of airbags in the event of an accident. When not in use, disconnect the vehicle adapter from both the 12/24V DC power socket and the device itself. Use only a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. For stubborn stains, dilute a neutral detergent in a 1:5 or 1:6 ratio and apply it to a soft cloth for cleaning. Please note that chemicals such as alcohol, thinners, and benzene may damage the device’s coating or surface. Avoid touching the lens to prevent damage. The recorded videos from this device are for personal use only. Do not adjust the device controls while driving, as this may distract you and compromise driving safety.

Playback Interface

  1. Press and hold the Menu button for 3 seconds to enter playback mode.
  2. Press the Up or Down button to select the recorded video files fr om the front or rear camera, then press the OK button to enter the recording folder.
  3. Press the OK button to watch the recorded video.
  4. Press the Menu button to exit, then use the Up or Down button to select Video – Lock or Photo options.
  5. Select the recording folder and press and hold the Menu button to delete the current file or lock the current file.

APP and WiFi Function

APP QR Code

  • Turn on the dash cam’s Wi-Fi, and the screen will display the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password.
  • Open the app > Follow the steps to go to the Wi-Fi connection interface> Find the dash cam’s Wi-Fi > Enter the password to connect (the default password is 12345678).
  • After successfully connecting to Wi-Fi,

View/Download/Delete/Share Videos

  1. Tap the icon on the main interface to view video and image files.
  2. Press and hold a video file to select it, then choose to download or delete.
  3. Return to the app’s home page, go to Album> Open and watch/share the video.

How to Play Using a Computer

Notes:

  • If the video files for the front and rear sections are recorded and loaded simultaneously, they can be played separately in a split-screen format.
  • When you find the desired video file, press and hold the left mouse button and drag the file to the video playback window to play.

Installation

Warning

  • Please ensure all cameras and wires are properly connected before turning on the dashcam screen, otherwise, the cameras will not function correctly. Follow the instructions below for the first time installation of the dashcam.
  • Scan the QR code on the right to watch the installation tutorial video.

Insert the Memory Card

  • Insert the storage card into the dashcam, ensuring the correct orientation with the gold contact points facing the dashcam screen.

Install the front camera.

  1. Please perform a desktop test before officially installing the dashcam to ensure all devices are working properly.
  2. Find a suitable location on the windshield and clean the pre-installation area with a cloth.
  3. Adjust the angle to record video with a better view.

Install the rear camera:

  1. Use a cloth to clean the area on the rear windshield where the rear camera will be installed.
  2. Peel off the static sticker and transfer it to the desired location.
  3. Remove any air bubbles from the static sticker.

Vehicle Cable Layout:

  1. Connect the car charger to the cigarette lighter socket.
  2. Connect the other end of the car charger to the dashcam.
  3. Use a pry tool to route the power cable along the windshield and roof, then hide it under the A-pillar to avoid obstructing the driver’s view and causing hazards.OURSTONE-FC70-Dash-Camera-FIG (13)
  4. Connect the rear camera cable interface to the rear camera cable.

  • How to turn off the dashcam’s sound effects?
    • Go to Settings> Tap Sound Effects> Turn off.
    • When the sound effects are turned off, the power-on and off sounds will also be disabled.
    • Why does my dashcam occasionally show “Card Error” or “Please
  • Format SD Card”?
    • Please follow these steps to check:
    • Go to Settings> Format Reminder, and check if the regular format reminder is enabled.
    • Format the SD card.
    • Perform a factory reset and restart the dashcam.
    • Update the firmware.
  • Device keeps restarting/cannot start?
    • Make sure you are using the included charger/cable.
    • Remove the SD card, camera cable, and car charger, then reinstall them to check if the issue is caused by the accessories.
    • Reset the device using the button on the bottom of the dashcam.
    • lf the problem persists, connect the dashcam to a computer using a USB cable. If the device starts, the issue might be with the car charger cable. If it still doesn’t start after connection, the problem might be with the dashcam itself.
    • Go to the official website to update the firmware.
    • lf the issue is not resolved, contact customer service for a replacement.
  • Why does the screen show “Mass Storage”?
    • “Mass Storage” appears when the dashcam enters transfer mode due to using a USB cable with data transfer capabilities. In this mode, only data transfer is available, and other functions do not work. For optimal performance, use the original car charger or a USB cable that does not support data transfer mode.
  • Why can’t I connect to Wi-Fi?
    • Check the working range of the Wi-Fi, which is approximately 15 feet.
    • Verify the Wi-Fi SSID and password, or check if other devices are connected to the Wi-Fi.
    • Turn off mobile data, security software, and VPN on your phone.
    • lf the issue persists, contact customer support for assistance.
