Orbbec LingBot Enhanced Depth Filter

Preperations Before Activation

• Please confirm the following items before starting the license activation process
• License code / license file: typically composed of 16 alphanumeric characters (e.g., PKG-11A2345B678C).
• Network environment: a computer with a stable internet connection.

Activation Methods

• There are two activation methods: online activation and offline activation. The procedures for each are described below.

Online Activation

1. Step1. Prepare a license file and a computer with internet access.
2. Step2. Open the OrbbecLicenseTool.exe tool on the computer.
3. Step 3. Click “1. License Info” → “Import File” → select the prepared license file. After loading, you can view the current license status, used quota, total quota, validity period, and corresponding device model.
4. Step 4. Connect the device to be activated, and then click “3. Activation” — “A. Online One-Click Activation” — click “Refresh Devices”. After the device is loaded，click “One-Click Activation”.
5. Step 5. After activation is complete, click “Device License Query” to check the result.

 Offline Activation

1. Step 1. If the computer connected to the device to be activated (e.g., Computer A) has no internet, prepare another computer with internet access (e.g., Computer B) and the license file.
2. Step 2. On Computer A, open OrbbecLicenseTool.exe , click “1. License Info” → “Import File” → select the license file and confirm. Since Computer A has no internet, the license info will not load.
3. Step3. Ensure the device is connected to Computer A, then click “2. Device List” → “Read Devices”. After successful reading, click “Parse Input” → the devices to be activated will appear in “4. Activation Details”. Then click “3. Activation” → “C. Offline Device Side” → “Export Request File” select a save location and confirm.
4. Step4. Copy the exported activation request file from Step 3 to Computer B (with internet). On Computer B, open OrbbecLicenseTool.exe, click “3. Activation” → “B. Signing” → “Import Request File”. After successful import, click “Sign Online”. After successful signing, click “Export Authorization File” → select a save path and confirm.
5. Step5. Copy the activation authorization file from Step 4 back to Computer A (offline). On Computer A, open OrbbecLicenseTool.exe, click “3. Activation” → “C. Offline Device Side” → “Import Authorization Activation File” → select the copied file. After import, click “4. Activation Details” → “Write to Device”. Successful writing indicates activation is complete. (Note: ensure the device is connected to Computer A before writing.)
6. Step6. To apply for multiple devices, connect multiple devices in Step 3 for parsing. If multiple devices cannot be connected simultaneously, fill in the SN, PID, and VID of the devices to be activated in a .txt or .csv file according to the template. Click “2. Device List” → “Load File” to import the prepared file. All devices will then appear in “4. Activation Details”. Then click “C. Offline Device Side” → “Export Request File” and follow Step 4 as described above.
