Important Tips
- Fiber optic disk installation – fiber optic disk outlet nozzle should be as far away from the propeller as possible, but additional attention should be paid to the balance point of the center of gravity of the aircraft.

- Fiber optic disk installation should be based on the aircraft’s tilt angle. The mounting bracket should be reserved for a certain tilt angle (as shown in the figure). The mounting angle should be close to the tilt angle, so that the fiber optic disk outlet angle is in a horizontal position.

- Fiber optic winding uses special glue, the first 300 meters of distance is the glue application area. In this area, the flight speed of the aircraft should be be controlled at 30km/h or 8m/s or less, to avoid high speed flight in the area with the glue.

- Maximum flight speed of the aircraft should be controlled within 120km/h.

- Do not allow the optical fiber to contact with water; otherwise, an optical attenuation phenomenon will occur, and the optical signal transmission quality will be degraded.

USAGE PROCEDURE
- Cut the protective cable ties
- Remove the protective shell
- Cleaning pen
- Connector
- After connecting to the ground, align the concave and convex angles.
Preparation of light plate before use
- Before using a optical cable tray, remove the transport protection cable tie and four protective clasps.
Note: Failure to clip ties will result in broken fiber optics cable. - Before using the optical fiber tray, cut the transport protective cable ties and remove the carbon fiber rod.
- Before use, remove the protective cover of the FC optical fiber port, pull out the optical fiber end, and connect it to the FC port on the ground module. Align the concave and convex holes and tighten the connectors.
- Before using the Fiber Channel interface, clean the fiber connector with a cleaning pen.
- If the light decay value is greater than-15dbm, it is not recommended.
Ground end wireless connection method 1
- Connect the GH1.25 line of Opticallink SKY to flight control according to the figure of “ground end wireless connection Method 1”.
- Connect the GH1.25 line of the Opticallink GBD ground end to the receiver and the image transmission.
- Fix the Opticallink SKY end and optical fiber disc, and pay attention to the optical fiber outlet mouth, keeping it as far away from the UAV propeller as possible to avoid winding accidents.
- Connect the optical fiber wiring harness. Connect the FC interfaces at both ends of the optical fiber disk to the Opticallink SKY FC interface and the Opticallink GBD ground FC interface. Note that the mouth end is connected to the ground.
- Fully charge the Opticallink GBD ground terminal battery and insert it into the ground terminal connector.
- Finally, turn on the power switch.
Ground end wired connection method 2
- Connects Opticallink SKY sky end GH1.25 wire to flight control according to the figure of “ground end wireless connection Method 2”.
- Connect the Opticallink GBD ground end GH1.25 wire directly to the remote control, note that not all remote controllers are compatible with wired connections, choose a remote control with PPM output.
- Fix the Opticallink SKY sky end module and optical fiber disc, and pay attention to the optical fiber outlet, keeping it as far away from the drone propeller as possible to avoid winding accidents.
- Connect the optical fiber wiring harness. Connect the FC interfaces at both ends of the optical fiber disk to the OpticallinkSKY FC interface and the Opticallink GBD ground FC interface. Note that the mouth end is connected to the ground.
- Fully charge the Opticallink GBD ground terminal battery and insert it into the ground terminal connector.
- Finally, turn on the power switch.

WARNINGS
- Input voltage: 11.1-26v – Stay within the safe range, do not exceed or go below, and do not reverse connect the positive and negative poles.
- Handle coiled fiber optic cables carefully. Avoid placing them near sharp objects or bending them tightly, as this can damage the fiber and cause it to break.
- Protect the optical fiber connectors and FC ports from dust, oil, and water stains, and ensure that the protective cover of the optical fiber connectors and FC ports is tightly closed.
- Store in a cool, dry area away from light.
- The optical fiber disk has a precise structure. Handle gently and always store it upright.
