This equipment complies with ISED RSS-102 radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and any part of your body.

1. Introduction

Touchscreen Core is the perfect blend of power, affordability, and seamless collaboration for classrooms and boardrooms alike. With advanced processing capabilities and AI-powered applications, this interactive display is designed to elevate every learning, meeting and collaborative experience. With its Google EDLA certification and integrated AI tools, it offers seamless access to the Google Play Store, unlocking a range of possibilities, including:

• Smooth integration with Google tools
• Installation of Google apps
• Single Sign-on for all Google and Microsoft 365 applications
• Enhanced device security through Google Play Protect

It is designed to provide a personalized experience for educators, students, and teams. Users can create individual profiles while ensuring data privacy and security. With intuitive screen-sharing software and an advanced interactive whiteboard, it enables engaging and dynamic lessons and presentations.

Additionally, the Core features multiple AI tools that provide access to various AI-powered functionalities, including a chatbot for real-time assistance, a smart selection tool, real-time transcription and translation, instant quiz generation, and lesson creation.

2. Installation

Touchscreen Core can be mounted on a wall using the included wall mount or placed on a mobile cart that can be additionally purchased. All installations should be handled by professionals. Please refer to the accompanying guides for detailed installation instructions and important safety precautions.

3. Powering ON your Touchscreen Core

Follow the steps below to power on your Touchscreen:

• Connect the power cable to the power inlet present at the bottom of your Touchscreen.
• Turn on the rocker switch present right next to the power inlet.
• Press the power button on the bottom right to power on the screen.

4. Using OPS PC with your Touchscreen Core

The OPS PC (Open Pluggable Source) is a compact computer that is available as an additional purchase with the Core. It enables seamless access to Windows functionality on your Touchscreen without the need for external PC connections or cables.

Follow the steps below to set up the OPS PC on your Touchscreen.

• Remove the OPS PC Plate cover on the right side of the panel.
• Slide the OPS PC into the OPS PC Slot. Please ensure that the OPS PC vents are facing outwards so the OPS may have proper ventilation during service.
• Press the Power Button labeled ‘PWR’ present next to the antenna ports of your OPS PC to power it on.
• Press the arrow button on the left or right side on your home screen to access the navigation toolbar.
• Press the ‘Source’ button from the toolbar.
• Press the ‘PC’ button to access the OPS PC input.
• Connect the power cable to the power inlet present at the bottom of your Touchscreen.
• Turn on the rocker switch present right next to the power inlet.
• Press the power button on the bottom right of your Touchscreen Core to power on the screen.

5. Registering your Touchscreen

Device registration is necessary for the activation of your interactive panel. The device registration page appears when you boot your device for the first time.

Follow the steps below to register your Touchscreen:

• Press the ‘Register’ button on the Welcome Page.
• Select the language and click Start.
• The screen will then prompt you to connect to a Wi-Fi network. Select the network you want to connect with. Enter the Password and press Connect (more details can be found under section 6 “Connecting Touchscreen Core with the Internet”).
• Press Next.
• Enter your Gmail account and click Next or just skip this step by pressing Skip.
• Enable or disable your desired Google Services. Scroll down and click Next.
• Set a pin for your Touchscreen or press Skip.
• Select your Country and Region on the following pages.
• Fill in the details including your name, email, contact details, role, organization, zip code, and industry. This information helps us keep you updated about any software updates and feature additions.
• Select your preferred theme (light or dark).
• Press the ‘Finish’ button to exit the registration page.

6. Connecting Touchscreen Core with the Internet

You can connect your Touchscreen to a Network through Wi-Fi or an Ethernet Cable.

6.1. Connecting via Wi-Fi

1. From the Home Screen, swipe down from the top to access the Notification Bar.
2. Select Internet to see all available networks.
3. Select the network that you want to connect to.
4. Enter the Password and press Connect.

6.2. Connecting via Ethernet Cable

Simply connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN-In (RJ-45) port on the bottom of your Touchscreen to link it to a network. Once the cable is plugged in, your Touchscreen will be able to access the internet.

7. Navigating through your Touchscreen Core

7.1. Homepage

1. OneScreen Account: Your personalized OneScreen profile containing all your data and files synced on the cloud that you can access on any OneScreen panel by simply signing in.
2. GURU Button: Tap on it to reach out to the OneScreen GURU Team for live, 24/5, instant support and training.
3. Date & Time: Date and Time that can be set from your Settings.
4. Browser: Your Touchscreen’s browser for surfing the web.
5. One Key Operation: Shortcuts to privacy clear, switch to OPS, and shut down.
6. Google Workspace: You can access all the Google apps that are pre-installed on your Touchscreen.
7. Navigation Toolbar: You can also press on the arrow buttons on the left/right side to access the navigation toolbar. Details on this can be found in the next section.
8. Dock: Shortcut to the Settings, OneScreen Write, Source, Chrome, Google Play, and YouTube.
9. My Apps: Your favorite apps according to your account settings that you can access by swiping up the Homepage.

7.2. Navigation Bar

1. Back: This takes you to your previous window/app.
2. Home: Takes you to the homepage of your Touchscreen.
3. Recent: To access all the applications running in the background of your Touchscreen.
4. Annotate: To use the on-screen annotation tool for annotation over documents and different sources.
5. Source: To access different sources like HDMI, OPS, etc.
6. Apps: To access all the applications installed on your Touchscreen Core.
7. Write: Opens up OneScreen Write which is a powerful interactive annotation and whiteboard software providing users with an unparalleled experience for teaching, collaboration, document editing, presenting, and brainstorming ideas. 8. Volume: To adjust the volume of Touchscreen.
9. AI: To access AI-powered tools, including an AI Chat, Smart Select, QuizWiz, Lessn, and Scribe.
10. More: To access additional tools such as timer, stopwatch, spotlight, screen recorder, OneScreen Engage, etc.

8. Connecting your Touchscreen Core with other devices

8.1. Wired Connectivity

To connect your device with Touchscreen Core you can use either of the following methods:

8.1.1. HDMI Connection

1. Connect your device and the Touchscreen through an HDMI Cable using the HDMI ports in the front or on the right side of the panel.
2. Additionally, connect the USB touch (USB-A to USB-B) cable between the two devices to have touch capability on the Touchscreen.
3. Once you have connected your device to the Touchscreen, you will automatically get a preview of your devices on the Home Screen.
4. You can swipe left and right on the source preview window to switch between multiple connected sources.

8.1.2. USB-C Connection

1. Connect your device to the Touchscreen using a USB-C cable via the USB-C port on the front or right side of the panel.
2. This connection also enables touch functionality.
3. Once connected, a preview of your device will automatically appear on the Home Screen.
4. Swipe left or right on the source preview window to switch between multiple connected sources.

8.2. Wireless Connectivity – OneScreen Share

Use OneScreen Share to wirelessly share or mirror display with the Touchscreen Core.

1. Download OneScreen Share on the client device (the PC that you want to connect with the Touchscreen) from our website (onescreensolutions.com/downloads)
2. Make sure that both the devices (the panel and the PC) are connected to the same network (wireless or wired).
3. Open the OneScreen Share on the client device.
4. Now, open OneScreen Share on your Touchscreen Core.
5. Note the password displayed on the screen and enter it in the Password Section of the Client App to establish the connection.
6. On your PC, click on Screen Share to share your PC’s screen to the Touchscreen.
7. Click on Desktop Sync if you want the Touchscreen’s display mirrored onto your PC while having full capability to control the Touchscreen from your client app.

9. OneScreen GURU – Free, Unlimited Help & Training

OneScreen GURU is your one-tap solution for any queries or issues that may arise while using OneScreen Products. Using the GURU app, customers can speak directly with a highly trained engineer, instead of a typical customer service agent. Gurus offer free, unlimited help and training on any OneScreen product, as well as for integration with devices from other manufacturers.

The GURU App comes pre-installed in your Touchscreen Core and can be accessed via the big green GURU button on the top-left corner of your Touchscreen’s home screen or via opening the GURU app from the apps section of your Touchscreen. You can also use the GURU Desktop or mobile apps to ask for a Guru’s assistance from your personal device. You can download the GURU app for Android, iOS or Windows from our website (onescreensolutions.com/downloads)

13. Compliances

13.1. Energy Star

ENERGY STAR is a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency voluntary program that helps businesses and individuals save money and protect our climate through superior energy efficiency. Products that earn the ENERGY STAR prevent greenhouse gas emissions by meeting strict energy efficiency criteria or requirements set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

The following logo appears on all ENERGY STAR-certified models:

This product qualifies for ENERGY STAR in the “Standard mode” setting, and this is the setting in which power savings will be achieved. Changing the Standard mode picture settings or enabling other features will increase power consumption that could exceed the limits necessary to qualify for an ENERGY STAR rating.

13.2. FCC Statement

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
