Batteries should not be disposed of with regular household trash. Bring used batteries to a battery recycling facility that has been approved in your area for disposal. Batteries shouldn’t be thrown into fires as they could explode and result in fatalities or major injuries. Never combine several battery types or brands, such as alkaline and rechargeable.
