Usage of Magic Pen Slicer Software

  1. Select Model: Click “File” to open the model file. If the file is damaged, you can click Auto Repair File;OCTOPUS-Bloom-740w-3D-Printer-Fig- (2) OCTOPUS-Bloom-740w-3D-Printer-Fig- (3)
  2. Adjust the Model Size, Click “Zoom”, and then click the “Lock Scole” button in the right interface to adjust the model to a desired size based on the scale;OCTOPUS-Bloom-740w-3D-Printer-Fig- (4)
  3. Model Support. Click “Support” on the lop of the model after determining the model size, find out and click the “Dangling Detection” button in the upper left corner, and click OK in the right interface to start detection.   4. Slicing, After confirming the support. click “Slice” on the top of the model. If you need to set the slice parameters, click on the Slice Settings to make an adjustment and save the settings, and then click OK on the right interface to start slicing. First Print Operation

  1. Save the .zyslr/.zip file generated from the model to a USB flash drive.OCTOPUS-Bloom-740w-3D-Printer-Fig- (9)
  2. Insert the USB flash drive and wait until the USB Flash Drive Inserted pop-up window is shown on the screen:OCTOPUS-Bloom-740w-3D-Printer-Fig- (10)
  3. Click the USB flash drive icon, select the file, click the model file, select the equipment parameter, and start printing.OCTOPUS-Bloom-740w-3D-Printer-Fig- (11)

Notes:

  1. If you want to customize parameters, please set up parameters when slicing the model, and then choose to click the file parameters when printing;
  2. If you want to pause the printing to check the printing situation, you can click “Pause”, and then click “Start” to continue to print;
  3. If you want to cancel the print, you can directly press “Stop” and then confirm to cancel the print.

Cloud Platform Instructions

  1. Download the Octopus Core APP, open the workbench of the APP, add the printer, and bind it to the phone (Note: please make sure that the phone and the printer use the same WiFi);OCTOPUS-Bloom-740w-3D-Printer-Fig- (12)
  2. Ater confirming the success of device binding, select the device, and then import a file to conduct slice processing online;OCTOPUS-Bloom-740w-3D-Printer-Fig- (13)

Operation After Printing

Note:
When removing the model, please ensure that you do not cause any harm to the NFEP film or LCD panel at the bottom of the resin tray.
