SAFETY. Before installation or maintenance, the electrical supply to the product must be isolated.

INSTALLATION CONDITIONS

• Mains supply: 220-240V AC +/- 10%, 50/60Hz
• Ambient temperature: -10°C – +40°C
• Insulation: Do not allow insulation materials to cover the panel itself or the driver. This would cause overheating and void the warranty
• The panel is not to be washed or otherwise exposed to water
• The panel is not to be disassembled in any way

RECESSED, SURFACE & SUSPENDED INSTALLATION?
NPN450* NTF420*-This product can be installed in 3 different ways:

1. Recessed installation in a 15-24mm exposed T ceiling grid No additional components are required.
2. Surface mounted A surface mounting frame is required and must be ordered as a separate item. 4 sizes are available:
   • 300 X 600
   • 300 X 1200
   • 600 X 600
   • 600 X 1200
3. Suspended.his requires a wire suspension kit which is to be ordered separately.

NPN450* NTF420* INSTALLATION

Recessed installation in a 15-24mm exposed T ceiling grid

1. Remove the appropriate ceiling tiles from the grid
2. Route the mains supply cable to the connection points on the driver or gear box and terminate them, checking that the correct polarity is maintained.
3. Check the connection between the driver and the panel.
4. Place the driver on the back of the fitting, in the middle, and place the fitting in position on the ceiling grid.
5. Re-connect mains power and check for correct operation.

Surface mounted

1. Assemble 2 sides (aluminium extrusions) and one end (folded aluminium) of the mounting frame together using the screws supplied with it.
2. Fit the mounting frame to the ceiling.
3. Route the mains supply cable to the connection points on the driver or gear box and terminate them, checking that the correct polarity is maintained.
4. Place the driver on top of the panel, in the middle, and slide the panel into the mounting frame. Because the panel is side-lit the driver is not at risk of overheating.
5. Re-connect mains power and check for correct operation.
6. Fit the remaining end of the mounting frame in position.

Suspended

1. Attach the suspension wires to the ceiling in the chosen position
2. Attach the other ends of the suspension wires to the eyelets at the corners of the rear of the panel. Adjust the length of the wires so that the fitting is suspended horizontally.
3. Connect the mains supply to the terminals of the driver and check that the correct polarity is observed.
4. Check the connection between the driver and the panel
5. Place the driver on the back of the panel, in the middle.
6. Re-connect the mains supply and check for correct operation.
