- The heating element must always be installed at the bottom of the bathroom radiator.
- Ensure the radiator is filled with liquid before operating the heating element.

4. Installatie (Setup)
The installation of the heating element is designed to be straightforward and can be performed at home. However, if you are unsure, consult a qualified professional.
- Compatibiliteitscontrole: Ensure your bathroom radiator has a G1/2 inch connection thread. The 300W heating element is suitable for bathroom radiators with a power output between 300-600 watts.
- Positionering: The heating element must always be installed at the bottom of the bathroom radiator. This ensures proper heat distribution and safe operation.
- De radiator vullen: Before installing the heating element, ensure the radiator is properly filled with the appropriate liquid (e.g., water or heat transfer fluid) according to your radiator's instructions.
- Veilige installatie: Carefully screw the heating element into the G1/2 inch port at the bottom of the radiator. Ensure it is tightened securely to prevent leaks.
- Elektrische aansluiting: Plug the coiled power cord into a suitable 230V ± 10% electrical outlet. The cable length is approximately 1400-1500 mm.
- Veiligheidsmaatregelen: For safety reasons, the heating element does not heat up within 3-4 cm of the power supply connection point.

5. Bediening
The EMKE heating element features intelligent temperature control with six distinct operating modes, allowing for precise temperature management from 30 °C to 70 °C. The digital display provides real-time information on current temperature and settings.

Bedrijfsmodi:
- Economy-modus: Standard temperature is 15 °C. Adjustable range is 7-30 °C.
- Comfortmodus: Standard temperature is 19 °C. Adjustable range is 7-30 °C.
- Vorstbeschermingsmodus: Temperature is fixed at 7 °C and is not adjustable.
- Boost-modus: Allows for 30 minutes to 24 hours of continuous heating.
- Timermodus: Can be set to heat at regular intervals.
- Vakantiemodus: Allows you to set the device's temperature when you are away and specify the number of days you will be gone.
Kinderslot Functie:
The thermostatic heating rods are equipped with a touch protection program (child lock function) to ensure a safe environment. Refer to the device's specific instructions for activating and deactivating the child lock.

6. Onderhoud
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your EMKE heating element.
- Schoonmaak: Disconnect the power before cleaning. Wipe the exterior of the heating element and control unit with a soft, damp doek. Gebruik geen schurende reinigingsmiddelen of oplosmiddelen.
- Inspectie: Periodically check the power cord for any signs of damage. Ensure the connection to the radiator is secure and free from leaks.
- Vloeistofniveau: Ensure the liquid level in your radiator is maintained as per the radiator manufacturer's guidelines.
7. Probleemoplossing
If you encounter issues with your EMKE heating element, refer to the following common solutions:
- Geen stroom: Check if the power plug is securely inserted into the outlet. Verify that the circuit breaker has not tripped.
- Niet verwarmen: Ensure the desired temperature is set above the current room temperature. Check if the heating element is in an active heating mode (e.g., Comfort, Boost). Verify the radiator is filled with liquid.
- Weergaveproblemen: If the digital display is not functioning correctly, try unplugging the unit for a few minutes and then plugging it back in to reset it.
- Lekken: If you notice any leaks, immediately disconnect power and tighten the connection thread. If the leak persists, contact customer support.
