5100 Seal for Mullion Application

Installation Instructions

1. Clean mullion surface of all dust, dirt, oil, grease, etc.
2. Surface temperature of the mullion must be above 50ºF for the adhesive on this seal to bond properly.
3. Cut the seal to the proper length.
4. Remove protective backing 1 to 2 feet at a time and adhere the seal to the center of the mullion face that the doors close against.
5. Firmly press down along the entire length of the seal to bond the adhesive to the mullion. DO NOT remove and relocate. DO NOT stretch the seal when installing.
6. Adjust the position of the RIM Exit Device strikes as required for proper latching of the devices.
