BAT301 Battery Replacement Kit Overview

This battery replacement kit is for use with the NextCentury “301” equipment (RR301 and RR301-TR). We are proud to provide the highest quality electronics with easy to replace batteries. Each battery in this kit will power a NextCentury device for 7-10 years, and you can be automatically no-fied when it’s time to change the batteries in any of your NextCentury equipment.

How to Replace a Battery

1. Pull Down Locking Tab
2. Remove Remote Reader
   Tip: Pull from the bottom of the Remote Reader to easily pop it off the mounting plate.
3. Twist base counter clockwise
4. Carefully remove internal unit
5. Pull down and detach old battery
6. Connect and insert new battery
   Before inserting the new battery you must connect it to the Remote Reader as shown here.

If the Remote Reader has been powered off for an extended amount of time, an updated IMR (Initial Meter Read) can be entered using the NextCentury Mobile App.
