Intended use
This product is a dashboard camera that can be mounted to the windshield of your vehicle. This product is intended to take photos, record videos, and playback recordings. This product is not intended for professional use. Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty, and proper functioning.

WARNING

  • Only use the product as described in this manual.
  • Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective product immediately.
  • Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
  • This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
  • Disconnect the product from the power source and other equipment if problems occur.
  • Disconnect the product from the power source before cleaning.
  • Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents when cleaning the product.
  • Do not expose the product to water, rain, moisture, or high humidity.
  • Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids.
  • Do not use any charger other than that specifically provided for use with the equipment.
  • Be careful when using the product while driving. Always focus your attention on the road.
  • Do not place the product near heat sources, this can damage the product.
  • Do not expose the product to very hot or very cold temperatures or drastic changes in temperature or humidity.
  • Do not install the product within the operation range of the airbag.
  • Ensure the product and the power cable are installed and do not interfere with the sight of the driver or impede with the operation of any driving controls.

Installing the product

In some jurisdictions, the use of this product can be considered as an invasion of privacy. The mounting of the product on the windshield might be regulated by law insome jurisdictions. It is your own responsibility to consult the local laws and regulations before installing and using this product.

Memory card

  • Videos and images are automatically saved on the microSD card (not included). When the memory of the microSD card is full, the oldest recording is overwritten. Before using the camera, format the MicroSD card on both your computer and in the product:
  • Formatting the microSD card will remove all files from the microSD card. Make sure to back up all files you want to keep before formatting the microSD card.
  1. Format the MicroSD card on your computer. 4 Select Allocation unit size: 32KB
  2. Insert the MicroSD card into the MicroSD card slot A5.
  3. Press the menu button A8 twice to select system settings.
  4. Press OK A6 to confirm the selection.
  5. Press up A7 or down A9 to select FORMAT.

Installing the product

  • Do not operate or adjust the product while driving. This may cause accidents. Stop or park your car in a safe place before installing and adjusting the dashboard camera.
    1. Clean and degrease the spot where you want to fix the product.
    2. Place the suction cup A1 on the windshield, just behind or below the rearview mirror.
    3. Rotate the knob on the suction cup A1 to fix the product to the windshield.
    4. Aim the front-facing camera Au for an optimal view of the road.
  • Ensure the product and the power cable do not interfere with the sight of the driver or impede with the operation of any driving controls.

Connecting the product to a power source

  1. Plug the auxiliary power cable14 At into the auxiliary power outlet of the car.
  2. Plug the other end of A14 into the USB-C port A3.
  • When plugged in, the product automatically switches on and starts recording when you switch on your car engine.

Using the product

  • Press the power button A6 to switch on the product.
  • Press the menu button A8 to enter the setup menu.
  • Press up A7 or down A9 to navigate through the menu.
  • Press OK A6 to confirm a selection.
  • Press and hold the power button A6 for 5 seconds to switch off the product.
  • When plugged in, the product automatically switches off when you switch off your car engine.

Video mode

  1. Press the mode button A7 to select video mode.
  2. Press OK A6 to start or stop recording.

Using the product

  • Press the power button A6 to switch on the product.
  • Press the menu button A8 to enter the setup menu.
  • Press up A7 or down A9 to navigate through the menu.
  • Press OK A6 to confirm a selection.
  • Press and hold the power button A6 for 5 seconds to switch off the product.
    • When plugged in, the product automatically switches off when you switch off your car engine.

Video mode

  1. Press the mode button A7 to select video mode.
  2. Press OK A6 to start or stop recording.
    • While recording a video, press the menu button A8 to save the recording to a locked (read-only) file. This locked file cannot be overwritten and can only be deleted by formatting the microSD card via the system settings, or by using a computer.
    • Press A9 to switch the microphone on or off.

Photo mode

  1. Press the mode button A7 to select photo mode.
  2. Press OK A6 to take a picture.
    • While in photo mode, press the menu button A8 once to enter photo settings, press the menu button A8 twice to enter into system settings.

Playback mode

  1. Press the mode button A7 to select playback mode.
  2. Press up A7 or down A9 to select a recording.
  3. Press OK A6 to play or pause recordings.

Video settings

  1. Press the menu button A8 to select video settings.
  2. Press up A7 or down A9 to navigate through the settings.
  3. Press OK A6 to confirm a selection.
    • Press the menu button A8 to exit the menu.

System settings

  1. Press the menu button A8 twice to select system settings.
  2. Press up A7 or down A9 to navigate through the settings.
  3. Press OK A6 to confirm a selection.
    • Press the menu button A8 to exit the menu.

G-sensor
When a collision is detected by the built-in g-sensor, the current video recording will be automatically saved to a locked (read-only) file.

  • This locked file cannot be overwritten and can only be deleted by formatting the microSD card via the system settings, or via a computer. You can switch this option on/off in the system settings.

Motion detection
When the camera detects movement, the product automatically starts recording. You can switch this option on/off in the system settings.

GPS

  1. Connect the GPS module to the USB-C port A3 of the camera.
    • The GPS module is included in the package.
  2. Connect the auxiliary power cable A14 to the auxiliary port of the GPS module.

GPS records accurate speed and location data for your Dash Cam while you are driving. This will keep track of your location, and shows the trip route and speed. Install the WitCam Pro App and WitCam Player to read and view the GPS data.

Connecting the product to Wi-Fi

  1. Switch on Wi-FI on the product.
  2. Switch on Wi-Fi on your phone.
  3. Select the DCAM2024BK SSD from the list of available networks on your phone.
  4. Enter the default password: 12345678 to connect.

WitCam Pro App and WitCam Player
To view recordings and GPS data on your smartphone or tablet, download and install the WitCam Pro app, available on Android and iOS. The WitCam Player can only be used on your PC or laptop. To view recordings and GPS data on the pc or laptop, download and install the “Witcam Player” via the link below: www.ligoor.com/app/witcam/witcampc.html

Disposal
The product is designated for separate collection at an appropriate collection point. Do not dispose of the product with household waste. For more information, contact the retailer or the local authority responsible for the waste management.
