Usage

Connection Setup

1. Connection between the light fixture and the power adapter: Ensure the voltage is consistent with the provided power adapter.
2. Connection between the light fixture and battery: Note: Battery is sold separately.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn on the light; the NANLITE logo will be displayed on startup.
2. Mode Selection: Press the MODE button to switch between different modes like CCT-HARD, CCT-SOFT, HSI, EFFECT, and MENU. Each mode has specific parameters that can be adjusted using the knobs.
3. CCT-HARD Mode: In this mode, use the right knob to select DIM, CCT, and G/M. Adjust parameters by rotating the left knob within specified ranges.
4. CCT-SOFT Mode: Similar to CCT-HARD mode but with different parameter options.
5. HSI Mode: Select DIM, HUE, and SAT using the right knob. Adjust parameters with the left knob within specific ranges.
6. EFFECT Mode: Select special effects by rotating the left knob. Choose from built-in effects like Hue Loop, CCT Loop, INT Loop, and more.

1. Display: Menu and option display.
2. Battery lock button: For locking or removing the battery.
3. Battery holder: For installing Sony NP-F, NP-FM lithium battery.
4. MODE: Press to switch between modes CCT-HARD, CCT-SOFT, HSI and EFFECT.
5. TRIGGER: Used to trigger STORM MANUAL or EXPLOSION MANUAL effects.
6. Left knob: For adjusting corresponding parameters.
7. DC power socket: DC power input port
8. Power: Power on/off.
9. Bracket fixing knob: For connecting the fixture to a light stand
10. MENU: To access menu options.
11. LOCK: Press the LOCK button to lock all functions, now operation button or adjustment knobs can not change the current function. Press LOCK button again to release lock status.
12. Right knob: For selecting options.
13. USB Type-C Port: For firmware updates.
14. Angle fixing knob: For adjusting the illumination direction of fixture.

Note: The holes in the four corners of the the fixture are used to install the barndoors and other accessories.

Operating Instructions

1. Press the power button to turn on, “NANLITE” logo will be displayed on start up.
2. MODE button: Press to switch between modes CCT-HARD, CCT-SOFT, HSI, EFFECT and MENU.
   1. CCT-HARD mode, roate the “right knob” to select DIM, CCT and G/M, rotate the “left knob” to set the parameters of the corresponding options. DIM rang: 000%…100%, CCT range: 2700K… 7500K, G/M range: -100…+100.
      • Roate the “right knob” to select DIM, CCT and G/M.
      • Rotate the “left knob” to set the parameters of the corresponding options.
        Note: In other modes, the adjustable range of DIM, CCT and G/M are the same as CCT-HARD mode.
   2. CCT-SOFT mode, rotate the “right knob” to select DIM and CCT, rotate the “left knob” to set the parameters of the corresponding options.Rptate the “right knob” to select DIM and CCT.
      • Rotate the “left knob” to set the parameters of the corresponding options.
   3. HSI mode, rotate the “right knob” to select DIM, HUE and SAT, rotate the “left knob” to set the parameters of the corresponding options. DIM rang: 000%…100%, HUE range: 000…360, the HUE could be adjusted circularly, SAT range: 000…100.Rotate the “right knob” to select DIM, HUE and SAT.

   4. EFFECT mode, rotate the “left knob” to select the desired special effect, it can be adjusted circularly. MixPad II 27C has built-in effects including Hue Loop, CCT Loop, INT Loop, CCT Flash, HUE Flash, CCT Pulse, Hue Pulse, Storm Auto, Storm Manual, Police Car, TV, Paparazzi, Candle/Fire, Disco, Bad Bulb, Firework, Explosion Auto, Explosion Manual, and Welding.

4. CCT FLASH
   • CCT Flash setting, rotate the “right knob” to select DIM, CCT, G/M and INTVL (INTVL range: 0.1S…10.0S), Rotate the “left knob” to set the parameters of the corresponding options.

5. HUE FLASH

18. EXPLOSION MANUAL
    • EXPLOSION MANUAL setting, rotate the “right knob” to select DIM, CCT, G/M, SPD (SPD range: 001…100) and DECAY (DEACY range: 001…100), rotate the “left knob” to set the parameters of the corresponding options. Press the TRIGGER button to trigger the EXPLOSION MANUAL effect.
19. WELDING
    • WELDING setting, rotate the “right knob” to select DIM, CCT, G/M, SPD (SPD range: 001…100) and PAUSE, rotate the “left knob” to set the parameters of the corresponding options. The Pause includes “OFF” and
      “ON”. When the status is “ON”, the fixture will go out.
    • Rotate the “right knob” to select DIM, CCT, G/M, SPD and PAUSE.
    • Rotate the “left knob” to set the parameters of the corresponding options.
    • Lighting effects and additional functionality maybe added with future firmware releases, for details of these please see www.nanlite.com.

MENU: Press MENU button to access options.

• Rotate the “right knob” to select CH, LANGUAGE and VERSION, rotate the “left knob” to set the CH (001…512), set the LANGUAGE (Chinese and English) and check the firmware’s version of your fixture.
• Rotate the “right knob” to select CH, LANGUAGE and VERSION.
• Rotate the “left knob” to set the needed option.

LOCK: Press the LOCK button to lock all functions, now operation button or adjustment knobs can not change the current function. Press LOCK button again to release lock status. Long press Lock button again to release the locked state.

When stop using the fixture, please turn off the switch.

Safety Precautions

1. Please open the package to check for damage caused during transit, if damaged please do not use the fixture and contact place of purchase or manufacturer as soon as possible.
2. Make sure that the power supply voltage used matches the voltage specified by the light before installation.
3. When cleaning or not using the light, please turn it off.
4. Keep the light safely stored and away from children.

Notice

1. Do not place objects on the light emitter or allow liquid to flow inside the fixture or the emitter.
2. Don’t place the light near flammable substances like alcohol or gasoline.
3. When cleaning the light, please wipe off debris or dirty by using a cloth with clean water or neutral cleanser.
4. The light should be safely operated where it won’t be at risk of getting wet or under extreme temperatures.
5. Do not attempt to repair the fixture by yourself. Attempts to self repair will void warranty, for repairs please return to place of purchase.

The light won’t start up.	Press the power button, if it does not display “NANLITE” Logo, connect to a power source and try again.
The display is on but no light output.	Please check if the intensity is set to zero or in storm/welding mode.
The light is flickering.	(1)  Please ensure the unit is not being operated in extreme temperatures. (2)  Ensure the fixture is not in EFFECT mode.
If the failure is not resolved after troubleshooting, please contact place of purchase.
