Basic Information
CONTROL YOUR LIGHTS FROM ANYWHERE in the world from the palm of your hand. The Retrofit produces beautiful high-quality light that you can dim, tune, color change, and control from your smartphone or tablet. Easy to set up, bulbs fit into your standard household sockets – no need for installation by an electrician. A wireless network or remote controller is required to operate bulbs.
SET LIGHT SCENES: Create rich indirect light scenes in your home by dimming from 1% to 100% smoothly or tuning the light’s color temperature from 1800 to 6500K as well as RGBW color changing with 16 million colors for your option. Schedule to turn on the lights so you don’t come home to a dark house. Set automated timers, or program the bulb to gradually increase brightness in the morning like the sunrise for a more pleasant, natural alarm.
SAVE ENERGY: Namron bulbs use up to 84% less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs and last up to 25,000 hours making them a smart choice for energy-conscious homes.
Special notes for Connected Bulbs
Line Voltage Dimmer
Namron does not recommend the use of a line voltage dimmer with connected bulbs. The reason is that each connected bulb contains a radio and reducing, or removing power through a line voltage dimmer may cause the connected bulb to not function properly. For dimming, Namron recommends using a compatible App (i.e., Namron’s LDS App) or a compatible wireless switch that uses the same wireless protocol as the bulb.
Quick Start Guide
The following are the general procedures for the Zigbee bulb to be “included” in the network:
Step 1
Screw the bulb into a standard socket.
Step 2
Turn on the bulb with your wall switch or alternate method to apply power to the bulb.
Step 3
Activate the “inclusion” mode on your Zigbee controller or gateway.
- This may also be done through your associated app if your ecosystem has that capability.
- Toggle the wall-switch, from OFF, then to ON. Or use your alternate method to toggle power from OFF, then to ON.
- The LED bulb will flash once if it has been successfully “included” into your Zigbee network.
Note 1: If you are using the 3rdpartyZigbee Controller or Gateway, please refer to 3rdParty’s instructions on how to add a new device to your network.
Note 2: If the bulb will not join the network after repeated attempts, please use the Factory Reset procedures to clear the bulb’s settings.
Factory Reset Procedure
Physically switch the bulb on and off six (6) times for intervals of 0.5 seconds. After the 6th time, the bulb will flash twice indicating that it’s successfully reset.
Safety Instructions
Please read, keep, and follow these instructions before installation:
- Switch off the power supply to the socket and allow sufficient time for the bulb to cool before removing the bulb from the fitting
- Warning: Risk of Electric Shock. Do not attempt to disassemble the bulb.
- Not suitable for use with standard wall dimmers
- Suitable for use in operation environment between -4℉ and 104℉（-20℃ and 40℃）
- Not for use in emergency lighting.
- Not suitable for totally enclosed fixtures.
- Do not clean the bulb when it is on and connected to the power supply
- Do not place the bulb on hot surfaces
- Dispose of this device per disposal laws in your area.
