INSTALLATION
Start with the passenger door. Loosen the two Torx screws marked above.
Use a plastic wedge to quickly remove the door panel from the bottom upwards
In the outer corner of the door there is a white holder that is not clipped in like the other holders, but is pushed in to the side. This last bracket can only be released by pushing it sideways.
Release the lock on the Bowden cable of the door lock.
Now disconnect all connectors from the door.
Use a slotted screwdriver to press the locking catch on the speaker and turn it to the left out of the holder.
Press the speaker connector spring with a slotted screwdriver. Then carefully remove the plug.
Plug the speaker connector* into the Musway speaker and turn it into the holder. Turn to the right until the speaker clicks into place.
If you only install the CSM206X model without a separate tweeter, the installation is complete from here. Reinstall the door panel in the reverse order of the individual installation steps and repeat this on the driver’s door.
Remove the covering of the mirror triangle on the inside corner of the door. This is held at the bottom by a small clamp and across the entire window front by the rubber lip.
Turn the tweeter out of the holder to the left and pull off the connecting cable. Connect this to the Musway tweeter. Then turn this into the holder. Make sure that the corresponding tabs are in the correct position.
Reinstall the covering of mirror triangle cover by first sliding it under the rubber seal along the window. At the very end, the small plastic nose must be fixed near the tweeter. Repeat the previous installation steps on the driver’s door.
