Install the Battery, SIM card, and TF card.
- As shown in the picture, use your index finger and thumb to squeeze the pick inwards at the same time to remove the back cover.

Tips: Install the SIM card/TF card after shutting down the device.
Please turn the battery lock to the open position and then install the battery according to the figure below.
Note: After installing the battery, please turn the battery lock to the locked state.
Handle Installation
Pull out the spring retainer, as shown below, to secure the device to the handle.
Note: The pistol is an optional accessory
M-Scan Settings
M-Scan is a mobile device data capture software that easily captures, processes, and transmits scan data. It easily integrates this data with the customer’s existing applications, reducing the need for additional programming or modification of application code.
Basic Settings
Enable M-Scan
Make sure M-Scan is enabled before using the scanner. Generally, M-Scan is enabled by default to ensure that you can use it out of the box.
Confirm that hat M-Scan is enabled.
Note: You can also reset M-Scan to its initial state from this page.
For example, if the scanning laser does not light up when you press the scan button, you can try clicking “Restore” to restore factory settings.
Using the Profiles
- M-Scan functionality is based on profiles containing a group of scan-related settings.
- M-Scan includes two preset profiles to support common or specific needs.
- ProfileO: The default profile. It will automatically take effect for any application that has not been associated with an M-Scan profile. Usually, we can change the scan settings in this profile.
- Launcher: The profile is used when the device is on the home screen. This is enabled by default. If you disable it, you will not be able to use the scanner on the home screen.
Barcode Input Settings
- Click “ProfileO (Default)” to set the default profile. If you do not create a new profile and associate it with an application, the scan settings of “ProfileO (Default)” will take effect for all applications.
ProfileO(default) Configuration

- Enable Configuration File: The profile is enabled by default.
- Enable Scanning Function: The scanner is enabled by default.
- Webpage Detection and Redirect: Scanning a web link will automatically redirect you to that web page.
- Floating Button: The Floating Scan button will appear on the screen when enabled.
- Scan Success Beep: Select the scanning success prompt tone.
- Scan Failure Beep: Enable or disable the scan failure prompt sound.
- Scan Vibration Alert: Enable or disable the scanning vibration prompt.
- Button Trigger Mode: Select the key trigger method.
- Character Set: Character set selection is automatically selected by default.
- Set Scan Parameters: Used to configure scanner-related parameters.
- Decoders: Common barcode settings. You can enable or disable a barcode.
Tips:
- If a barcode cannot be scanned, you need to check if that type of barcode is enabled.
- lIf fyou are experiencing missing numbers or characters after scanning a barcode, you can click on that barcode type to enable the Send Checksum setting. An example is the UPC barcode:
Barcode Processing Settings
After scanning the barcode data, M-Scan can process the data and output it according to the requirements. The data can be processed in the following three ways:
CSl Formatting
GSl barcode formatting: mainly for the processing of GSl type barcodes, such as splitting barcodes, deleting GS characters, etc.
- The following table shows examples of GSl barcode format settings:
Basic Data Formatting
Basic Data Formatting: perform simple processing operations on the data, such as adding prefixes and suffixes, deleting characters, etc.
- Add Prefix: Adds numbers or characters in front of the barcode data.
For example, input “ABC,” the original barcode is “12345”, then the final output is “ABC12345”. - Add Suffix: Adds numbers or characters after the barcode data.
For example, if you input “ABC” and the original barcode is “12345”, the final output will be “12345ABC”. - Send TAB key: The read data will be suffixed with a tab character “\t.” When reading data in Excel, the cursor will automatically move to the next cell.
- Send ENTER key: Enable this setting, and the output will wrap automatically. (Enabled by default)
- Delete starting characters: Enter the number of characters to delete from the beginning.
- Delete Ending characters: Enter the number of characters to delete from the end.
- Delete Content: It will delete the characters you entered.
Advanced-Data Formatting
Advanced data formatting: You can perform programminglike operations on data: select some predetermined rules and process the data in sequence.
- Enable advanced data formatting. By default, there is a preset rule, Rule 0, which does not process the barcode in any way. You can click the “+” sign to create multiple rules.
- Rule triggering conditions: You can trigger the next action of this rule by specifying a string, a barcode data position, a length, or a barcode type.
- Act Click the “+” sign to select the next action that this rule can perform. You can add multiple actions to meet some complex requirements.
Data Output Mode Settings
Key Output
Key output is the default scanning output mode enabled by M-Scan. By default, when you scan a barcode, the barcode data will be output in the input box in a simulated keystroke manner. You have three key output options:
- Output to Cursor Position: After scanning the barcode, the data will be immediately displayed where the cursor is.
- Simulate Keyboard Output: The barcode data will be output in simulated keyboard input mode. (Default enabled)
- Output and Overwrite Cursor Position: Replace the data at the cursor position with the barcode data.
Broadcast Output
Broadcast Output uses Android’s broadcast mechanism to transmit barcode data to the user’s APP. Default off.
Clipboard Output
The barcode data scanned by the device will be saved in the clipboard. Default off.
New Configuration File
With M-Scan, you can create a profile and link it to your app. You can achieve:
- Create multiple profiles and associate different applications so that different applications can process the same scan data in different ways.
- Create a single profile and associate it with multiple applications to acquire and process scan data in the same way.
- Note: A profile can be associated with one or more pages or apps, but a page or app can only be associated with one profile.
New Configuration File
- Click the New Configuration File.
- Enter the name of the Profile in the pop-up input box and click OK.
- Finish creating the Test Configuration File.
Associated APP
- Select the Test Configuration File you created.
- Enter the name of the Profile in the pop-up input box and click OK.
- Finish creating the Test Configuration File.
- For example, you can associate a configuration file with OrcaScan. When you select the “*” symbol, all active pages in OrcaScan will be associated. You can also select a specific page to associate with

OrcaScan
OrcaScan is a barcode scanning app that offers a variety of features, including barcode creation, printing, and scanning, supports offline use, and can integrate with multiple systems such as Google Sheets, Excel, and Power Bl. The application allows you to export the scanned barcode data in Excel format.
Zoho Inventory
Zoho Inventory is a cloud-based inventory management solution designed to help businesses track stock in real-time and manage orders and warehouse operations. It supports multi-channel selling and barcode scanning and integrates with popular e-commerce platforms and shipping carriers, enhancing efficiency and accuracy for retail, wholesale, and e-commerce businesses.

Reset Options
Reset network settings and app preferences. You can also reset your device to its factory defaults.
- From Settings, tap System –> Reset options. The following options are available:
- Reset Mobile Network Settings: You can reset your mobile network settings.
- Reset Bluetooth & Wi-Fi: You can reset Wi-Fi nd Bluetooth settings with Reset network settings.
- Reset app preferences: You can reset all app preferences settings and will not lose any app data.
- Erase all data (factory reset): You can reset your device to factory defaults, erasing all data from your device.
Note: This action permanently erases ALL data from the device, including Google or other account settings, system and application data and settings, downloaded applications, as well as your music, photos, videos, and other files.

FCC RF Exposure Information and Statement
- The SAR limit of USA (FCC) is 1.6 W/kg, averaged over one gram of tissue.
Device types: Android Barcode Scanner (2BF4EAS01) has also been tested against this SAR limit. The highest SAR value reported under this standard during product certification for use at the ear is 0.433W/k,g, and when properly worn on the body, is 0.755W/The hotspot SAR value is 0.755W/kg; the simultaneous transmission SAR value is 0.689W/kg on the head and 1.115W/ kg on the body. This device was tested for typical body-worn operations, with the back of the handset kept 10mm from the body.
To maintain compliance with FCC RF exposure requirements, use accessories that maintain a 10mm separation distance between the user’s body and the back of the handset. FAQs
1. Why can't the device be turned on or charged?
*Due to the impact of long-distance transportation, the battery may enter sleep mode. *Please charge it for half an hour before turning 1t on. Please try to press and hold the power button for more than 20 seconds to force a restart The battery still cannot be turned on after charging for half an hour; please check whether there is a problem with the charging plug or charging cable. Please replace the charging plug/charging cable to charge. If you have a charging stand, please use the charging stand to perform a charging test. The device has a removable batter, and you have extra batteries. Try replacing the batteries and try again.
2. Why does the scan light not appear after I press the device scan button?
*Refer to Section 2.1.l to restore M-Scan to factory settings. *Please try restarting your device. *Please try to reset the device. Please refer to Chapter 4.0. *If this does not work, please contact Technical Support.
3. How to use the battery correctly?
The battery is a lithium-ion battery. If it is out of power, please charge it immediately. Do not fully charge or deplete the battery for a long time. It is best to keep 50% of the power for storage. If you do not use the device for a long time, it is best to unplug the battery from the device.
4.Why is the light on when scanning,g, but there is no data?
*Refer to section 2.2 to check whether this barcode is enabled. *2. Please try to change the scan output mode to simulate keystrokes. Please refer to section 2.4.1.
5. Why is there a lack of numbers in the output when I scan successfully? (Characters)
