The AFS200 outdoor management system allows you to control
connected electrical devices and lighting systems wirelessly using
a remote control within a range of up to 30 meters. The
communication between the components, the remote control, and the
wireless socket is done through a coded signal.

Preparation:

1. Remove the plastic cover on the rear side of the remote
control and insert the provided battery.

Commissioning:

Insert the wireless socket into the power outlet.

While the red LED on the socket is flashing, press one of the
ON buttons on the left-hand side of the remote control (A, B, C, or
D) to pair the socket with a channel.
The wireless socket is now connected to the remote
control.

Function Check:

To test the functionality, press the ON button for the selected
channel (A, B, C, or D) on the left-hand side of the remote
control.
If you hear a click sound and see the LED illuminate
constantly, the wireless socket is operational.

Press the OFF button for the same channel on the right-hand
side of the remote control to turn off the connected device.

FAQ:

Q: How do I change the batteries in the remote
control?

A: To change the batteries in the remote
control, remove the plastic cover on the rear side of the remote
and replace the batteries with two new AAA batteries.

Allgemein
Damit Sie viele Jahre Freude an diesem Produkt haben, beachten Sie bitte die nachfolgende Bedienungsanleitung und bewahren Sie diese auf. Mit dem AFS200 Steuersystem für den Außenbereich können angeschlossene Elektrogeräte und Beleuchtungen, bis zu einer Entfernung von 30 Metern, mit einer Fernbedienung ein und ausgeschaltet werden. Die Kommunikation zwischen den Komponenten (Fernbedienung und Funksteckdose) erfolgt durch ein kodiertes Signal.

Vorbereitung
Entfernen Sie die Kunststoffabdeckung auf der Rückseite der Fernbedienung und setzen Sie die Batterien ein.

Inbetriebnahme 1. Stecken Sie die Funksteckdose, die mit Ihrer
Fernbedienung gekoppelt werden soll, in die Steckdose.
2. Drücken Sie nach dem Einstecken, während die rote LED blinkt, eine der ON-Tasten links an der Fernbedienung, um die Funksteckdose mit einem der 4 Kanäle der Fernbedienung (A, B, C oder D) zu verbinden.
3. Die Funksteckdose ist mit der Fernbedienung verbunden. Nun können Sie Ihr gewünschtes Gerät, welches geschaltet werden soll, in die verbundene Funksteckdose stecken.
Funktionstest
4. Die Funktionsfähigkeit können Sie überprüfen, indem Sie auf der Fernbedienung die ON-Taste (linke Seite) des zuvor ausgewählten Buchstabens (A,B,C, oder D) drücken.
Ertönt ein ,,Klick-Geräusch” und die LED leuchtet konstant, ist die Funksteckdose funktionsbereit.
5. Drücken Sie anschließend die OFF-Taste des selben Buchstabens auf der rechten Seite der Fernbedienung.
Auch hier ertönt wieder ein deutlich hörbares ,,Klick-Geräusch” und die LED erlischt. Die Funksteckdose ist ausgeschaltet

Achtung: Verwenden Sie nur spritzwassergeschützte Stecker, um das Produkt
gegen Wasser zu schützen.
Verbindung rückgängig machen (1 Kanal) 6. Schalten Sie die Funksteckdose mit der entsprechenden OFF-Taste (A,B,C oder D) auf der Fernbedienung aus. 7. Ziehen Sie die betroffene Funksteckdose aus der Steckdose. 8. Jetzt stecken Sie die Funksteckdose wieder in die Steckdose. 9. Drücken Sie nun, während die rote LED blinkt, die OFF-Taste des gleichen Kanals. Die rote LED blinkt nun schneller und signalisiert damit die Aufhebung der Programmierung.
Sie können der Funksteckdose direkt im Anschluss einen anderen Kanal über eine ON-Taste zuweisen.

Verbindung rückgängig machen (alle Kanäle) 6. Schalten Sie die Funksteckdose mit der OFF-Taste der ALL-Funktion auf der
Fernbedienung aus. 7. Ziehen Sie die betroffene Funksteckdose aus der Steckdose. 8. Jetzt stecken Sie die Funksteckdose wieder in die Steckdose. 9. Drücken Sie nun, während die rote LED blinkt, die OFF-Taste der ALL-Funktion.
Die rote LED blinkt nun schneller und signalisiert damit die Aufhebung der Programmierung. 10. Eine neue Zuweisung ist nun jedoch nicht möglich, erst nach erneutem Ein- und Ausstecken der Funksteckdose.

Hinweise
· Bei Betätigung der Tasten leuchtet die rote LED-Anzeige auf der Fernbedienung kurz auf. Die rote LED an der Funksteckdose hingegen leuchtet konstant, sobald diese eingeschaltet wird.
· Die Reichweite verringert sich, wenn das Signal Decken, Türen, Fenster oder Wände durchdringen muss (umgebungsabhängig).

· Über die ON- / OFF- Taste im Bereich ,,ALL” können Sie alle Funksteckdosen gleichzeitig ein- und ausschalten.

Tipps

Wenn die Fernbedienung nicht funktioniert, prüfen Sie …

1. … ob die Batterien korrekt eingelegt sind. 2. … ob die Batterien leer sind; wenn die Batterien leer sind, dann ersetzen
Sie diese bitte durch typgleiche Batterien.

· Vermeiden Sie, dass die Batteriekontakte nass werden. · Installieren Sie die Funksteckdose nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe von Transforma-
toren, dies kann die Funkverbindung beeinflussen.
· Bitte überschreiten Sie nie die Höchstwerte (siehe Spezifikationen).

Wenn die Funksteckdose nicht funktioniert, prüfen Sie …

1. … ob die gewählte Steckdose funktionstüchtig ist. 2. … ob die Funksteckdose verbunden ist.

Wenn Sie kein wahrnehmbares Geräusch hören, ist die Funksteckdose nicht mit der Fernbedienung verbunden. Bitte wiederholen Sie dann den Vorgang ,,Inbetriebnahme”.

3. … ob das anzuschließende Gerät funktionstüchtig ist. 4. … ob das eingesteckte Gerät, vorausgesetzt es hat einen Ein- und Aus-
schalter, eingeschaltet ist.

Wartung

Das Gerät ist wartungsfrei, öffnen Sie dieses bitte niemals selbst! Ihre Garantie verfällt, wenn Sie das Gerät öffnen. Reinigen Sie das Gerät außen mit einem

weichen, trockenen Tuch oder einer Bürste. Vor dem Reinigen ziehen Sie bitte

alle Stromzuführungen ab. Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungsmittel, die Carbon-

säure, Benzin, Alkohol o. Ä. enthalten. Diese Inhaltsstoffe greifen die Oberfläche

des Gerätes an und die Ausdünstungen sind gesundheitsschädlich und explosiv.

Verwenden Sie keine scharfkantigen Werkzeuge, Schraubendreher, Drahtbürsten

o. Ä., um die Geräte zu reinigen.

Sicherheits- und Wartungshinweise
· Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle elektrischen Anschlüsse sowie Kabelverbindungen an weiteren Geräten den betreffenden Richtlinien entsprechen und sich gleichzeitig in Übereinstimmung mit der Bedienungsanleitung befinden.
· Achten Sie darauf, Steckdosen und Verlängerungskabel nicht zu überlasten, dies kann zu Feuer oder einem Stromschlag führen.

General information
To ensure that you can enjoy this product for many years to come, please read this manual and store it in a safe place. The AFS200 outdoor management system is capable of switching connected electrical devices and lighting systems on and off with a remote control up to a distance of 30 metres. The components (remote control and wireless socket) communicate via a coded signal.

Preparation
Remove the plastic cover on the rear side of the remote control and insert the battery.

Commissioning

1. Insert the wireless socket that shpuld be

connected to your remote control into the

socket.

2. After inserting the socket and while the red

LED is flashing, press one of the ON buttons

on the left-hand side of the remote control,

to connect the wireless socket with one of

the 4 channels on the remote control (A, B, C or D).

3. The wireless socket is now connected to

the remote control. You can now insert the

device you wish to switch on and off into the

connected wireless socket.

Function check

4. You can check the functionality by pressing the ON button (left-hand side) of the remote control for the previously selected letter (A, B, C or D).

If you hear a “click” sound and the LED illumi-

nates constantly, the wireless socket is opera-

tional.

5. Then press the OFF button for the same letter on the right-hand side of the remote control.
You will hear another clearly audible “click” sound and the LED goes out. The wireless socket is switched off

WARNING: Only use waterproof connectors to protect the product against water.

Reversing the connection (1 channel)

6. Use the respective OFF button (A, B, C or D) on the remote control to turn off

the wireless socket.

7. Remove the wireless socket in question from the socket.

8. Re-insert the wireless socket into the socket.

9. Now press the OFF button for the same channel, while the red LED flashes. The red LED now flashes faster, to signal the cancelled connection.

The wireless socket can be assigned to another channel immediately, by pressing any ON button.

Reversing the connection (all channels) 6. Use the ALL-OFF button on the remote control to turn off the wireless socket. 7. Remove the wireless socket in question from the socket. 8. Now re-insert the wireless socket into the socket. 9. Now press the ALL-OFF button, while the red LED flashes.
The red LED now flashes faster, to signal the cancelled connection. 10. To assign new channels, the wireless socket has to be removed and
re-inserted into the socket.

Notes · When the buttons are activated, the red LED on the remote control illuminates
briefly. However, the red LED on the wireless socket remains illuminated for as long as it is switched on. · The range reduces if the signal has to pass through ceilings, doors, windows or walls (environment dependent). · The ON/OFF button in the “ALL” area can be used to switch all wireless sockets on or off at the same time.

Tips If the remote control is not working, check …
1. … whether the batteries have been inserted correctly. 2. … whether the batteries are empty; if the batteries are empty, please replace it with equivalent batteries.
· Avoid getting the battery contacts wet. · Do not install the wireless socket in the immediate vicinity of transformers as
these can affect the wireless connection. · Please do NOT exceed the maximum values (please refer to the specifications).
If the wireless unit does not work, check …
1. … whether the selected socket is working properly. 2. … whether the wireless unit is connected.
If you cannot detect a perceptible noise, the wireless socket is not connected to the remote control. Please repeat the “Commissioning” procedure.
3. … whether the device to be connected is functional. 4. … whether the inserted device is switched on – assuming it has
an ON/OFF switch.
Maintenance The device is maintenance-free, so please do not open the device. You will invalidate your warranty if you open up the device. Clean the outside with a soft, dry cloth or a brush.
Do not use any cleaning products that contain carbonic acid, benzene, alcohol or similar substances. Such substances attack the surface of the device and their vapours are also hazardous to health and explosive. Do not use any sharp-edged tools, screwdrivers, wire brushes or similar to clean the device.

Safety and maintenance instructions
· Make sure that all electrical connections, such as cable connections, comply with to the relevant policies.
· Attention! Do not overload power outlets and extensions, this can cause fire or an electric strike.
· If you are facing any trouble with using the device, or if you have any safety issues, please contact an expert.
· Keep out of the reach of children. · Avoid hard impacts, this can lead to damaging the electronic circuits. · Never replace damaged power leads yourself! Please remove the devices from
the mains and contact a specialist.
· Opening and repairing the device must be performed only by an authorized specialist.
· Wireless systems could be affected by phones, microwaves and other electronic devices that are operating within the 433.92 MHz field. Keep a minimum distance of at least 3 meters during the installation and operation of the device.

Protecting the environment
At the end of its service life, this product must not be disposed of with the normal domestic waste. It must be taken to an assembly point for the recycling of electrical and electronic devices. This is indicated by the symbol on the product, the instruction manual and packaging. The materials and substances can be recycled according to their marking.
