4. Persediaan

4.1 Pemasangan Bateri

1. Pastikan transceiver dimatikan.
2. Cari penutup petak bateri di bahagian belakang unit.
3. Luncurkan atau buka selak penutup untuk membuka petak.
4. Insert one AAA battery (sold separately) according to the polarity indicators (+/-) inside the compartment.

5. Arahan Operasi

5.1 Kuasa Hidup/Mati dan Pelarasan Kelantangan

• To turn on: Rotate the Power/Volume knob clockwise until a click is heard and the display illuminates.
• To turn off: Rotate the Power/Volume knob counter-clockwise until a click is heard and the display turns off.
• To adjust volume: Rotate the Power/Volume knob while the unit is on. Clockwise increases volume, counter-clockwise decreases it.

5.2 Pemilihan Saluran

• Use the Up/Down arrow buttons to select your desired communication channel (1-47).
• Ensure all transceivers in your group are set to the same channel for communication.

5.3 Menghantar dan Menerima

• Untuk Menghantar: Press and hold the PTT button. Speak clearly into the microphone (located near the speaker grille). Release the PTT button when finished speaking.
• Untuk Menerima: Ensure the PTT button is not pressed. The transceiver will automatically receive signals on the selected channel.

• Press the 'Monitor' button to temporarily open the squelch. This allows you to hear very weak signals or background noise on the current channel, which can be useful for checking channel activity.
• Release the 'Monitor' button to return to normal squelch operation.

5.5 Group Mode

• The 'Group' button is used to manage group communication settings. Refer to the full user manual for detailed instructions on setting up and using group codes (CTCSS/DCS tones) for private conversations within a larger group.
