Use the die cutter to cut out the artwork.
- Button components:
- Shell, artwork, and Mylar.
- Pin back.
Put the components into the button maker.
In the left die load the components in this order:
- Shell (smooth side up)
- Artwork
- Mylar
Make sure artwork and Mylar are lying flat on top of the shell.
Put the pin back into the right die. Please notice the orientation of the pin.
The holes are horizontal and below center. 
Rotate the left die clockwise. Pull down the red handle. Use your muscles!
The components will be picked up and stay in the upper die.
Rotate dies counterclockwise so that the pin back is under the upper die.
Pull down the red handle.
Rotate the dies back to the original position and remove your finished button!
