MOOV ML12W100 Series Mini LED Pool Light User Manual

LED Pool light for nozzle of pool, with threaded connection for nozzles 1-1/2″ . Available in color versions: white, white/blue and RGB (color).
The luminaire shall be installed on a pool wall or step wall no less than 8 inches below water level.

We suggest that the light cable is installed into a conduit where the connection is into a junction box.
Cable length of 7.5 and 30 meters are available.

A certiﬁed class 2 low voltage transformer speciﬁc to swimming pool is required for connection of this light.

Instruction & Use

This LED pool light for nozzle is designed to be installed in most of the nozzles on the market, both with 1 ½ ” internal thread.
The light should be positioned on the wall of the pool about 30 cm below to the surface of the water, in an area easily accessible for possible maintenance.
The light can be ﬁxed on concrete or stone wall pools, thin wall pools, ﬁberglass wall pools, Metal/liner wall pools.

Maintenance & Replacement

There is no maintenance required for this light. It is designed to be used only once, meaning that replacement is necessary if it becomes defective (repairing is impossible). Before any handling, ensure that there is NO voltage supplied to the lamp.

To replace, unscrew the lamp from the pool ﬁtting, disconnect from the junction box and pull the cable and light. Replace and ensure the new lamp is of the same model and characteristics as the one being replaced.

Start-up

The lamp should only operate underwater while secured to the vertical walls of the pool. Never switch on the lamp if it is not underwater.

In case of colored lamps, 16 pre-programmed eﬀects and combinations may be selected using the on/oﬀ switch of your pool lights. Just switch oﬀ and switch on within 3 seconds.
If the light is powered oﬀ for more than 20 seconds, it will keep the latest program when it is turned on again. (Memory Function)
To achieve synchronization, conﬁrm all lamps are installed correctly on the same switch, after they are powered oﬀ for more than 20 seconds, switch on and switch oﬀ continuously 3 times, and then ﬁnally turn them on again.

They will all go to program 1. Now you can select a program for them by switch oﬀ and on within 3 seconds .(Re-set Function)
White / blue lamps can work with white or blue light. To switch from one type to another by turn on/oﬀ.

Safety Warnings

Don’t use electronic transformers which may damage the light. You should use approved industrial frequency transformer, such as toroidal transformer and square transformer.

For your security, the persons who is in charge of the installation should have the required qualiﬁcations for this type of work. Please refer to local guidelines to do so. Avoid making contact with the electric voltage.
Meets UL676:2015 and CSA C22.2 #89:2015 of Electric code.
Replacement must be performed with the lamp disconnected from the electric power system.

Do not handle any electrical components unless certiﬁed to do so.

Warranty

The manufacturer warrants this LED light underwater against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover the ﬁxture becoming damaged due to misuse, accidental damaged, improper handling and/or installation and speciﬁcally excludes liability for direct, incidental, or consequential damages.

WARNING: Frequent voltage ﬂuctuations can irreparably damage the lamp.If the installation must take place in areas where these changes may be frequent, a system to protect the lamps must be installed on the electric system of the pool.
A certiﬁed pool light low voltage transformer is required to operate the light.

Certiﬁcation
The unit meets UL676:2015 and CSA C22.2 #89:2015 of EC directives.

Note
Except when the luminaire is installed in an area of the swimming pool that is not used for swimming and the lens is adequately guarded to keep any person from contacting it, the luminaire shall be installed in or on a wall of the pool, with the top of the lens opening not less than 200 mm (7.9 inches) below the normal water level of the pool. The proper routing and securement of the ﬂexible cord and for the installation of any required guards or structural members.
No more than 1.52 m (5 ft) of ﬂexible cord may be accessible when the installation instructions include guidance for reliably routing and securing the cord to suitably rigid structural members of the pool, the luminaire.
The lamp is supplied with cable over 7.6m.
For supply connection, use only an isolating low voltage power supply with ungrounded output, evaluated for swimming pool use.

End-of-life care for the electrical device
The present product is subject to proper disposal at the time of its disposal. Once discarded, it must be delivered to an appropriate collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
