Music Feedback
A key feature for our Music Team is the location staff voting feedback — Thumbs Up / Thumbs Down feature

This feature empowers location staff to share their thoughts on the in-store music experience. This simple yet powerful feature helps us gather valuable insights from the staff in the location to continuously improve the music strategy for the brand.
How It Works Voting icons have been added to the floating Now Playing panel at the bottom of the home screen and to the screen when it is in full view.

Privacy By Design
We understand that store devices are often shared among multiple employees. To protect individual privacy: – The interface automatically resets after each
submission – Previous ratings are not visible to subsequent
users – All feedback is anonymized when sent to the
Harmony Cloud
Key Functionality
This feature is designed to collect valuable feedback while maintaining the integrity of the carefully curated playlists: – Rating a song does not affect its immediate
playback – Thumbs down will not skip or block songs – Thumbs up will not increase play frequency – All feedback is aggregated for analysis by our
Music Team

Team members can: – Express positive sentiment with a thumbs-up – Express negative sentiment with a thumbs-down – Provide feedback on currently playing songs – Rate recently played songs from the playback
history – Cancel or modify their rating within a brief, 3-
second window after submission

The Bigger Picture
This new feature creates a direct channel between store employees and our team. The collected insights help us: – Better understanding of the store staff’s musical
preferences – Make informed decisions about playlist updates
and ensure they align to the brand strategy – Ensure the in-store experience resonates with
both staff and customers
We’re committed to crafting the perfect sound for each brand and their customers. By incorporating real-time feedback from the people who experience the in-store music daily, we can further fine-tune our programming to fit the brand and space.
