Follow these steps for safe and proper installation of your floodlight.

Connect the live (L), neutral (N), and earth (PE) wires correctly. Ensure all connections are tight and properly insulated to maintain the IP65 rating.

The goobay 53880 LED Floodlight operates automatically via its PIR motion sensor. You can adjust the sensor's settings to suit your needs.

The PIR sensor has three adjustable controls located on its underside (refer to Figure 4.5):
- RANGE (Detection Range): Adjusts the maximum detection distance from 1 to 10 meters. Turn the knob to increase or decrease the range.
- TIME (Light Duration): Sets how long the light remains on after motion is detected, from 5 to 600 seconds (10 minutes). Turn the knob to adjust the duration.
- LUX (Гэрлийн мэдрэмж): Determines the ambient light level at which the sensor becomes active. Settings range from 5 lx (darkness) to 2000 lx (daylight). Turn the knob to select the desired sensitivity. For example, setting it to a low LUX value means the light will only activate in near darkness.
6.2 Motion Sensor ON/OFF Switch
The floodlight includes an ON/OFF switch for the motion sensor function. This allows you to disable the motion sensor and use the floodlight as a normal, continuously-on outdoor light if desired. When the switch is in the 'OFF' position, the motion sensor is bypassed, and the light will remain on as long as power is supplied.
