Before installation, ensure the camera is fully charged using the provided USB cable. The LED indicator will turn blue when charging and off when fully charged. The ZUMIMALL F5 offers two primary installation methods: magnetic mounting for easy placement and bracket mounting for more secure, permanent fixture.

3.1 Magnetic Mount Installation

The magnetic mount allows for quick and flexible placement on any magnetic surface or using the included 3M tape for non-magnetic surfaces. This method is ideal for indoor use or temporary outdoor placement.

1. Clean the desired installation surface to ensure it is dry and free of dust.
2. Attach the magnetic base to the surface using the 3M adhesive tape or directly to a magnetic surface.
3. Align the camera with the magnetic base until it securely snaps into place.

3.2 Bracket Mount Installation

For a more secure and permanent installation, especially outdoors, use the bracket mount and screws.

To utilize the full features of your ZUMIMALL F5 camera, download and connect it to the ZUMIMALL app.

1. Download the ZUMIMALL app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

5.4 Storage Options: Cloud & Local (SD Card)

The camera supports both cloud storage and local storage via a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included). A 7-day loop cloud recording plan for 6-second video clips is available, ensuring your privacy through encrypted cloud services.

5.6 IP66 Weatherproof Design

Within the ZUMIMALL app, you can customize the recording duration for motion-triggered events and adjust the detection sensitivity to suit your environment. Higher sensitivity will detect more subtle movements but may also lead to more frequent alerts.

The ZUMIMALL F5 is battery-powered. To optimize battery life, consider the following:

• Reduce motion detection sensitivity if you experience excessive false alarms.
• Adjust the recording duration to shorter clips if longer recordings are not essential.
• Ensure the camera is placed in an area with good WiFi signal strength to prevent excessive battery drain from connection attempts.
• For continuous power, consider purchasing a compatible ZUMIMALL solar panel (sold separately).

• Ensure there are no obstructions directly in front of the PIR sensor.
• Check the camera's battery level; low battery can affect performance.

7.4 SD Card Issues

If your Micro SD card is not recording or is difficult to insert/remove:

• Ensure the SD card is inserted correctly with the gold contacts facing the camera.
• Use a small, non-sharp object (like a fingernail or plastic tool) to gently push the card in until it clicks, and to eject it.
• Format the SD card through the camera settings in the ZUMIMALL app.
• Ensure the SD card is a genuine Class 10 or higher, up to 128GB.
