Installing MindsetXR on Meta Quest 2
Step 1:
- Click on “MindsetXR-v1.0.0.zip”.
- Click the “Download Anyway” button to save the file to your computer.
- Extract the file and open the “MindsetXR-v1.0.0” folder; you should find “MindsetXR-Android-Shipping_universal.apk” in that folder. This is the file you need to install on your device.
- Download & Install SideQuest from https://sidequestvr.com/download (Advanced Installer Recommended).
Step 2:
- Connect your Meta Quest 2 headset to your computer using the provided cable from your package.
- Put on the VR headset for a moment and click on the “Allow” button (Do not disconnect the cable).
- Take off the VR headset and run SideQuest on your computer.
- Click the “Install APK file from a folder on a computer” button, then browse to select “MindsetXR-Android-Shipping_universal.apk”.
- Please wait until the installation is complete.
Step 3:
- Put on the VR headset.
- In the virtual reality environment, click on the App Library.
- Click on “All” then “Unknown Sources”.
- Click on “MindsetXR” to run the app and enjoy!
