Product Usage Instructions
WARNING: In the process of working with calipers, the following should be avoided:
- Scratches on the measuring surfaces
- Measuring the size of an object in the process of machining
- Shocks or dropping, avoid bending of rod or other surfaces
To operate the MICROTECH DOUBLE DIGITAL CALIPER:
- Insert a CR1632 3V battery into the caliper.
- To turn on the caliper, press the ON/OFF button.
- To switch between metric and English measurement systems, use the corresponding button.
- Press and hold the ORIGIN button for 5 seconds to activate the ORIGIN function after a battery change.
- To switch between absolute and relative measurement, or to set the ZERO position, use the appropriate button.
- The caliper’s IP54 rated display is waterproof and can withstand some exposure to water.
- The caliper will automatically wake up when movement is detected and switch off after a period of inactivity.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Wipe with a clean cloth, soaked in gasoline, measuring surface of the frame and gauge calipers to remove anti-corrosion oil. Then wipe them with a clean dry cloth.
- If necessary, open the battery cover; insert the battery (type CR1632) according to the polarity of the electrodes. Blinking display information or absence suggests replacing battery.
- It will be indication on display «——-» after battery chnging. Press ORIGIN button for 5 sec to start reading system.
- During the measurement avoid warps of measuring surfaces of the instrument. Measuring surface must be fully in contact with the measurement object.
- After finishing work wipe the measuring surfaces of the caliper with a cloth soaked in gasoline and apply anticorrosion oil.
