M5STACK Unit NFC Unit Extension Module

Whakaahuatanga
The Unit NFC is a high-performance universal NFC peripheral. It features the built-in ST25R3916 chip, utilizes an I2C communication interface, and supports multiple operating modes: reader/writer, card emulation, and active/passive peer-to-peer. It is compatible with NFC-A/B (supporting ISO 14443A/B), NFC-F (FeliCam), and NFC-V (ISO 15693) for reader/writer functionality, as well as NFC-A/NFC-F card emulation. Based on the AFE and frame system, it offers special streaming and transparent modes, enabling the implementation of other custom protocols in reader or card emulation modes. Integrated technologies such as Dynamic Power Output (DPO), Active Wave Shaping (AWS), and Noise Suppression Receiver (NSR) provide excellent anti-interference capabilities and performance. It is suitable for applications such as identity recognition and pairing, as well as universal handheld or desktop reader/writer devices.
