Pulse Pro Basic Setup

Lock in factory mode (unlocks when “1” is pressed)

1. Set lock configuration and date format: *Lock bolt must remain in the retracted position throughout the configuration setup procedure*

• Determine configuration # from the list below (Fig 1A) or refer to the configuration chart in the full instructions for all options
• Retract the lock bolt
• Press & hold “8” until lock double signals & red LED remains on
• Enter configuration ID
• Reenter configuration ID
• Enter date format (0=Day/Month/Year, 1=Month/Day/Year)
• LED flashes, keypad emits 2 beeps, LED goes out
• Lock will now be in operating mode, preset Manager & Master codes are active
• Manager: 60-123456 (Opens lock)
• Master: 80-123456 (Does NOT open lock)
• *If a dual custody configuration was set, a user must be activated before the lock can be opened*

• 12: 10 users, single custody, manager management
• 17: 50 users, single custody, manager management
• 13: 10 users, dual custody, manager management, 1 TD override user (10)
• 18: 50 users, dual custody, manager management, 10 TD override users (50 – 59)

2A. Activate Users: (Single Custody Mode)

• Press & hold “1” until the lock double signals & the red LED remains on
• Enter manager code, including position (60)
• Enter user position to be added (2 digits)
• Enter new user code
• Reenter the new user code

2B. Activate Users: (Dual Custody Mode)

• Press & hold “1” until the lock double signals & the red LED remains on
• Enter manager code, including position (60)
• Enter Master code, including position (80)
  • Any user code can be used in place of the master code once activated
• Enter user position to be added (2 digits)
• Enter new user code
• Reenter the new user code

3. Set Time Delay: (Optional)

• Press & hold “9” until lock double signals & red LED remains on
• Enter manager code, including position (60)
• Enter time delay (XX) followed by open window(XX)
• Reenter time delay (XX) followed by open window(XX)

Tuhipoka:

• Push / Pull-rated motorized deadbolts are set to manual extension by default
  • Press the “P” button to extend the bolt
• Manager & Master codes are changed using the “Change User Code” instructions below

Changing User Code
*It is strongly recommended that code changes be performed with the door open*

1. Press & hold “0” until lock double signals & red LED remains on
2. Enter user position to be changed (1st 2 digits)
3. Enter existing user code (6 digits)
4. Enter new user code (6 digits)
5. Reenter new user code (6 digits)

*Test new code at least 3X before closing door*
