About Seestar manuals on Manuals.plus

Seestar is a visionary sub-brand established by ZWO (Suzhou ZWO Co., Ltd.), a leader in astronomical cameras and equipment. Dedicated to making the cosmos accessible to everyone, Seestar produces all-in-one smart telescopes that integrate optics, an electric focuser, an astronomical camera, and an intelligent controller into a single, portable unit.

Their flagship products, such as the Seestar S50 and Seestar S30, feature advanced technologies like auto-GoTo, tracking, and live stacking, which allow users to capture stunning images of deep-sky objects, the sun, and the moon with ease. Controlled entirely via a user-friendly mobile app, Seestar devices remove the complexity of traditional astrophotography, enabling users to explore the universe without extensive technical knowledge.

Seestar support FAQ

Nga patai noa mo nga pukapuka pukapuka, te rehitatanga me te tautoko mo tenei waitohu.

  • How do I connect my Seestar telescope to the app?

Power on the device by holding the power button for 2 seconds (short press then long press for first use). Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone, launch the Seestar App, tap 'Connect', and follow the prompts. You may need to press the Reset button on the bottom of the device for the initial pairing.

  • Why is my Seestar telescope not activating?

Initial activation requires an internet connection. Ensure your phone or tablet has access to mobile data or Wi-Fi during the process and do not close the app. If activation fails, check your network and try again.

  • Can I observe the sun with Seestar telescopes?

Yes, but ONLY with the dedicated solar filter installed. Never point the telescope at the sun without the filter, as it will cause irreversible damage to the sensor and optical components.

  • How do I charge the Seestar S50 or S30?

Use a USB Type-C charger supporting USB BC1.2 standards. The device supports 5V 2A in normal mode and up to 12V 3A for fast charging.

  • What does the Wi-Fi reset button do?

Located on the bottom of the device, pressing and holding the Wi-Fi reset button for 3 seconds resets the device's Wi-Fi settings, which is useful if you cannot find the hotspot or need to re-pair.
