Most MACAP grinders feature a stepped or micrometric adjustment knob or ring. Press the fixing pin (if equipped) and turn the adjustment nut or knob towards '+' for a coarser grind or '-' for a finer grind. Always adjust while the motor is empty or running if beans are present.
MACAP grinders are equipped with a thermal circuit breaker. If the motor overheats and stops, disconnect the appliance from the power supply and wait at least one hour for it to cool down before restarting.
Disconnect the power supply first. Remove the adjustment disc and the upper blade holder. Clean the grinding chamber and remove coffee dust using a brush or vacuum cleaner. Do not use water or steam jets on the appliance.
