The BOMATA T101 thermometer comes with one LR44 battery pre-installed and an additional spare battery. To install or replace the battery:

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the thermometer's head.
  2. Use a coin or small screwdriver to gently twist the cover counter-clockwise to open.
  3. Insert the LR44 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  4. Replace the cover and twist clockwise to secure it.

  1. Hiko Whakaka/Weto: Pehia te ON/OFF button to turn the thermometer on or off. The device will automatically power off after 10 minutes of inactivity.
  2. Ine inenga: Insert the stainless steel probe into the center of the food or liquid you wish to measure. Ensure the probe tip is fully immersed and not touching bones or the bottom of the container. The temperature reading will display on the LCD screen within 2-4 seconds.
  3. Switching Units (°C/°F): Pehia te ° C / ° F. button to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.
  4. Taumahi HOLD: Pehia te KAUPAPA button to freeze the current temperature reading on the display. This allows you to remove the probe from the heat source and read the temperature comfortably. Press the HOLD button again to release the reading and resume live measurement.

  • Te horoi: The BOMATA T101 is IPX7 waterproof. After each use, the entire thermometer can be rinsed under running water with mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrubbers.

  • Rokiroki: Store the thermometer in its protective sheath when not in use to prevent damage to the probe. Keep it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Tiaki Pūhiko: If the thermometer will not be used for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the battery to prevent leakage.
  • Kaua e rino: This product is not designed for contact with hot irons.
