LED and Button Rules

Status LED:

• Flashing green slawly(once/sec):
  Configuration mode.
• Flashing green rapidly(twice/1ec): Wi-Fi
  connecting mode/ No internet connection.
• Solid green: Successfully connected.
• Solid red: Curtain is opening or closing.
• Flashing amber slowly(once/sec): Auto Detect mode is running.

Buttons:

• Press ““to open the curtain.
• Press ““to close the curtain.
• Press” “to pause the curtain, Hold for 5 seconds to reset device.
• Press” “and” “for 5 seconds to start Auto Detect mode.

Installation Guide

Before we get started

1. Please ensure you hove thoroughly read the Quick Safety Guide. It is crucial to fully understand the safety information before proceeding with the installation.
2. Ensure a neutral wire is available.
3. Make sure the faceplate direction is correct.

Tools you’ll need

Standard and Philips screwdrivers, pliers, a wire stripper, and a voltage detector.

Wiring Diagram

1. Existing Dumb roller shutter motor wires.
2. Meross smart roller shutter motor wires.
   • Connect live wire into L terminal.
   • Connect Up wire into Up(Open) terminal.
   • Connect Down wire Down(Close) terminal.
   • Connect Neutral wire into N terminal.
     Note: Wire color as per IEC, your house may use different wire color, but the functions shall the same.

Set up the device

1. Download the Meross opp.
2. Connect your smartphone or tablet to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
3. Launch the Meross opp and log in to your account. or if you ore a new user, top Sign up to create a new account.
4. Tap the”+” icon to select the type of smart device you wont to odd, then you con just follow the setup wizard to finish configuration.
5. Relocation of the smart device does not require additional operations provided that it remains on the same network with strong Wi-Fi signal.

NOTE: 

1. If this is not the first time you’ve added this smart device, you’ll have to reset it before going any further.
2. You can use a Matter-enabled third-party platform to configure the device.

Auto Calibration

Auto Calibration is a feature that enhances the operation of your device by ensuring the roller shutter operates accurately and efficiently. This process automatically detects and sets the top and bottom limits of the roller shutter, enabling precise percentage-based control of the shutter’s position.

Note:

1. After successful setup, the device will automatically enter Auto Calibration mode. You can also manually trigger it by pressing and holding both UP and DOWN buttons for 5 seconds.
2. Auto calibration may take 1-2 minutes. Please do not turn off your motor.
3. Without calibration, the roller shutter will only support fully open or fully closed operations, without the ability to adjust to percentage levels.
4. If the automatic calibration is inaccurate, you con manually adjust it using the Up/Down time duration parameter.

Google Assistant:
Hey Google, turn on the roller shutter. Hey Google, close the roller shutter. Hey Google, set roller shutter to 50%.

What should I do when I can't open or close the roller shutter switch manually?

Please remove the button housing and check the Status LED. If the LED is off: Make sure that you restore power to the Roller Shutter Switch at the circuit breaker. Make sure the Roller Shutter Switch is wired correctly. Please consult with a qualified electrician.

What 1f I can't control the smart device with the Meron opp?

You can troubleshoot the following: Check if your home Wi-FI is working properly. Make sure that you have disabled access control in your router and that the smart device is not blocked by the router's firmware. Factory reset your smart device and try to add it again.
