Basic Operating Guidance

Loading-in Books

1. Method 1 (USB): Use the data cable to connect the device to a computer. Add the desired books into the root folder named [Books]. Open [File/Documents Manager] on the device to access the imported books by their corresponding classification.
2. Method 2 (WiFi Transfer): Find the [WiFi transfer books] tool in the [Application]  module. Open it and follow the instructions to enter the provided IP address or scan the 2D QR code to transfer files.

Loading-in Dictionaries
Add the desired dictionary files into the root folder named [Dict]. Open the built-in [Dictionary] application on the device to view and use the translation.

Changing Fonts
Add the desired font files into the root folder named [Fonts]. Open a local book on the device, tap the [Aa] icon to access the font settings, and select your imported font.

Downloading and Installing Third-Party Apps
Search and download your favorite third-party apps in the [Application Shop]  or by using the built-in [Web Browser], then complete the installation according to the on-screen prompts. To ensure optimal viewing performance on the electronic ink screen, reading-centric apps are highly recommended.

A2 Refresh
To optimize the online browsing experience on an electronic ink screen, it is advised to enable the [A2] super-speed refresh mode when using the web browser or third-party apps. This effectively reduces screen flashing.

Replacing the Nib (Only for models with stylus support)
To replace a stylus nib, use the nib clip to gently pull out the original nib, then insert the new replacement nib.

Power Saving Tips

1. Technique 1: click the [Task manage] at top bar, clean the spare task windows in time.
2. Technique 2: click the left side [Snow] icon in the [Application] module, then enter into backstage application manage, reduce the unnecessary backstage starting.

Charging Precautions

Do not charge with a power adapter exceeding 5V 2A. This device does not support charging with any quick charger or any power bank.

Use a power adapter to supply power, you should use a power adapter that hasobtained CCC certification and meets the standard requirements. Attention! lf the battery is improperly replaced, there will be a danger of explosion, and itcan only be replaced with a battery of the same or equivalent type.

Firstly many thanks for you purchase our Meebook series E-book reader, please make ensure that you already read the quick start guidance before start the equipment. Please contact the distributors to obtain the support if meeting equipment failure.

Maintain guarantee scope
If you find the reader occur manufacture materials or technology defaults within 12 monthsstart from the day that you purchased from distributors, you have right to use out maintain guarantee service. But the maintain guarantee service provided by us can’t extend the whole maintain guarantee time limit.

• The maintain guarantee scope not include the optional accessories, and the fault/damage caused by incorrect operating, error use or third party operations.
• The maintain guarantees cope not include consumable parts and abrasive parts, example battery can’t be singly used parts finally because use consumable.
• If there is any hardware damage caused by incorrect charging way (such as using quick charger or power bank to charge), then hardware damage will be exceed the warranty, so cannot get the warranty service). Please use a regular charger of 5V IA or 5V 2A and the original usb cable for charging only.

Maintain guarantee clauses

• We provide free cost maintain service, or replace new machine for you according the default situation of the products to follow our maintain guarantee duties.
• The proprietary rights of the E-book reader and parts which be replaced by us belong to our company.
• All products relate to complain will be verified and confirmed by the authorized service center. After discriminated, we will send the equipment to maintain or replace the non-defect equipment.

Execute maintain guarantee
Before apply maintain quarantee, you need provide purchase proof (invoice and receipts,etc), point out the purchase date and model/name for E-book reader, the claim for the E-book with defects should be in maintain guarantee period.

Data backups
When maintain the E-book reader, we can’t quarantee that still keep the original data of E-book reader. So, we advise you do well at data backup in advance before transport back the equipment for maintain.
