Charge the Player

Use 5v, 500mA Charger

  • Plug one end of the USB cable into the USB port of a charger, the other end to the port on your device.
  • After fully charged, disconnect the cable from your device by pulling it straight outward.

Charge by Computer

  • Connect the device to a running computer via the included USB cable.
  • Note: To prevent battery deterioration, you are supposed to charge the battery at least once a year.

  • Power on, off
    • Long press the power button for 3 seconds to turn on / off the player.
  • Reset
    • Long press the power button for 15 seconds to reset this unit.
  • Touch Control
    • Tap the keys to control the MP3 Player.
  • Lock Screen
    • Long press the button MECHEN-D51-Bluetooth-MP3-Player-fig-1 (11) to lock the screen in case any wrong operation caused by unintentional touch.
    • Unlock it by long press the button MECHEN-D51-Bluetooth-MP3-Player-fig-1 (11) again.
  • Memory Expansion
    • Support up to 128GB TF card.

  • Menu under Music:
    • All songs, Resume, Now Playing/Last Played, Artists, Albums, Genres, Playlists, Update playlist, Card Folder(if you’ ve insert a memory card), Local Folder When the song is being played, tap the button a on the top right, you will find the sub-menu below.MECHEN-D51-Bluetooth-MP3-Player-fig-1 (9)
    • MP3, WAV. FLAC. APE. OGG, these music formats are supported

Data Transfer

  • Using the supplied USB cable, connect your computer and copy over media files as if it was a flash driver or use music management software such as Windows Media Player to transfer the files (not work for iTunes).

Attention:

  1. ONLY 4000 music tracks can be displayed in the music lists, please go to the folders to find the complete tracks.

If your computer cannot detect the MP3 Player, pls update your USB driver or try another cable.

How to pair D51 with Bluetooth devices?

  1. Follow the routes: Bluetooth > Bluetooth on/off > Bluetooth on to turn on the Bluetooth mode.
  2. Search for Device to find available Bluetooth device around.
  3. Go to Device list and choose the Bluetooth device you want to pair, press the button MECHEN-D51-Bluetooth-MP3-Player-fig-1 (18)a to confirm Pair.
  4. Once the Bluetooth connection is done, you will find a green Bluetooth icon on the screen.

Attention:

  1. D51 cannot pair with Smart Phones.
  2. Must select Bluetooth to reconnect with your Bluetooth device if you turned off the MP3 Player last time.
  3. If you have connected your Bluetooth earphone with your mobile phone, please disconnect them before pairing with the D51, or the connection would be a failure.
  4. When listen to radio by Bluetooth, wired headphones are needed as radio antenna.

You can not only record from the microphone but also from Line-In ( transfer audios from smartphone to this MP3 player directly)
How to record from Line-in?

  1. Connect the mp3 player with smartphone by line-in cable
  2. Select Recordings > Record from > Line in
  3. Press the button MECHEN-D51-Bluetooth-MP3-Player-fig-1 (16) to go back, then select Start voice recording
  4. After saved the file, you can play it from Recordings library

  • MP3 and SD card’s memory will be sorted by edit time, the first file be dropped in will be listed at the top.
  • If you renamed the file or do some other modifications, the file goes to the bottom of the list. This trick only works for
  • “Folder” , not “Music”
  • Don’t forget to add a bookmark when you use audio book.
