Product Usage Instructions

Installation:

  • Ensure the power source is turned off before installation.
  • Connect the LED driver to the LED lighting system following the wiring diagram provided in the user manual.

Voltage and Current Adjustment:

  • For A-Type drivers, adjust the output voltage using the built-in potentiometer within the specified ranges. For A/AB-Type drivers, adjust the output current within the specified range using the potentiometer.

Setup and Configuration:

  • Allow a setup time of 500ms and a rise time of 80ms for 230VAC input. Refer to the manual for specific setup and configuration details based on the input voltage.

Input Power Requirements:

  • The LED driver operates within a voltage range of 180VAC to 528VAC and 254VDC to 747VDC. Ensure the input power meets these requirements for proper functionality.

Efficiency and Power Factor:

  • The LED driver offers high efficiency ranging from 86.5% to 90% with a power factor of PF0.93 to PF0.98 at different input voltages. Check the power factor characteristic section for more details.

Description

HVG-65 series is a 65W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HVG-65 operates from 180~528VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40°C ~ +80°C case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HVG-65 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

  • This series is able to work in either Constant Current mode (a direct drive way) or Constant Voltage mode (usually through additional DC/DC driver) to drive the LEDs.

3 in 1 dimming function (for B/AB-Type)

  • Output constant current level can be adjusted by applying one of the three methodologies between DIM+ and DIM-: 0 ~ 10VDC, or 10V PWM signal or resistance.
  • Direct connecting to LEDs is suggested. It is not suitable ‧ to be used with additional drivers.
  • Dimming source current from power supply: 100μA (typ.)

  1. Min. dimming level is about 8% and the output current is not defined when 0%< Iout<8%.
