BATTERY AND CHARGE
- Please install the battery acording to position of the battery in Fig 2.
- The Battery pack should be removed from the car when it is intended to be Charged. Remove the clip to open the battery cover as shown in the photo, and then remove the battery pack. Connect the battery pack with USB charger as shown. Plug on the USB charger to the computer to charge the battery pack. The charger’s red light is always on, and the green light flashes, indicating that is charging-The charger’s red and green lights are always on, meaning the battery is fully charged.
- Included: USB Charge cable and 7. AV Battery for buggy. Fig 2
- Not Included: 3 x1.5V AA” for radio controller. Fig 3
STEP 1 QUICK SETUP – PAIRING
IMPORTANT PAIRING INFORMATION:
- Always turn on the radio controller and then turn on the receiver on buggy.
- The pairing process is automatic.
- Never pull/push the Trigger or turn the Steering Wheel during the moment you are switching on radio controller. Failure to do so will cause the radio system to record the incorrect signals.
- Only after pairing should you pull/push the Trigger or turn the Steering Wheel
Do not turn wheel or pull/push trigger during pairing.
PAIRING PROCEDURE:
- Tum on the radio controller. The red light will flash (Fig. 4).
- Locate the power switch behind the front left wheel of the buggy chasis. Turn to “on’ position. It will pair automatically to radio controller. Successfully paired contoller will show solid red (Fig.5)
- Buggy will beep and buggy bumper lights will come on.
STEP 2 QUICK SETUP – STEERING TRIM TUNING
Gently pull the trigger for straight line performance.
- Adjust trim as needed to keep straight line.
STEP 3 QUICK SETUP – STEERING AND RATE ADJUSTMENT
STEP 4 QUICK SETUP – CHECK TRIGGER RESPONSE
A. Pull the trigger back to accelerate, release it to decelerate and push it to brake. B. To stop running your buggy, release the trigger to Neutral.
C. Pushing the trigger a second time activates the reverse feature.
STEP 5 QUICK SETUP – ADJUST MAXIMUM SPEED
MAXIMUM SPEED
Turn knob all the way counter clockwise for the frist drive to get familiar with speed.
Adjust knob clockwise to increase max speed (NOTE: This will drain the battery faster.)
BUGGY CHASIS AND RADIO CONTROLLLER DETAILS
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Fault Symptom | Fault cause |
The vehicle does not work at all. | 1. Check to see if transmitter and buggy are on. 2. Replace batteries. 3. Check if there are damaged parts. |
The vehicle runs slow. | 1. Replace or charge the battery pack and/or the radio batteries. 2. Clean all bushings or ball bearings. 3. Check for stripped or dirty gears. |
The throttle works but not the steering. | 1. Check if the servo is bound up, try centering it by hand. 2. Visually inspect for broken tires or debris caught in the linkage. |
It steers, but throttle is uncontrollable. | 1. Check if there are damaged parts. 2. Replace or charge the battery pack and/or the radio batteries. |
The vehicle is noisy. | 1. Check for stripped and/or dirty gears. 2. Clean and oil bushings or ball bearings. |
MAINTENANCE
After running your buggy, the following procedures should be performed regularly and will help to maintain your buggy’s performance.
- Inspect your buggy for any obvious damage.
- Check the gears for wear, debris or broken/slipping teeth.
- Check the wheels and tighten the wheel screws properly.
- Check for loose screws in the chassis.
- Check the wiring for frayed or damaged wires or connectors.
- Check all batteries connections.
- Keep the chassis clean and free of sand, dust and moisture.
- Clean the buggy body with a soft lint-free cloth.
- Remove all batteries when not in use.
Do not use product on a road or damaged surface to avoid injury.
Do not use the product in sand mud or wet areas.
