Safety Recommendations and Reminders
- Keep children away from equipment parts while installing the computer.
- Unplug the computer’s power cord before installation.
- Protect your hands and fingers when handling and installing components.
- Ensure that the processor socket is compatible with the heatsink.
- Remove the protective sticker from the heatsink block.
- Apply thermal paste to the processor. An excess of thermal paste can reduce the dissipation capability.
- Install the processor heatsink before placing the motherboard inside the case to make heatsink installation easier.
- Gently tighten the mounting screws to the stop, without applying excessive force.
- It is recommended that the system has fans that bring fresh air into the case to keep the processor and other components at an optimal temperature.
- Keep the computer in a clean and dry environment, as dust and moisture can limit the lifespan of the computer’s components.
- Important Notice: If you notice any damage or irregularities in the product, please do not proceed with the installation and contact our customer service immediately. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or further damage.
Troubleshooting
High Processor Temperature:
- Check if the thermal paste is in good condition; if it is old, clean it off and apply a new layer.
- Ensure that the mounting installation is correct and that there is no gap between the processor surface and the base of the heatsink.
- Make sure that the screws securing the mounts to the motherboard are tightened to the stop without applying excessive force.
- Check the fan speed (RPM) through the BIOS menu or the monitoring software provided by the motherboard manufacturer.
- If the computer’s airflow is insufficient, add fans to bring fresh air into the system.
Fan Not Spinning
- Check that the fan’s power connector is plugged into the CPU FAN connector on the motherboard.
- Check the fan speed (RPM) through the BIOS menu or the monitoring software provided by the motherboard manufacturer.
Excessive Fan Noise
- The fan may generate noise if the speed is too high; adjust the fan speed curves in the BIOS to reduce fan speed (RPM) without compromising cooling.
- If the fan has been exposed to dust or dirt, it may have deteriorated; contact us for assistance.
