VLINE User Guide

Getting Started

Ensure your VLINE module has an internet connection for optimal performance. This can be achieved through smartphone tethering (iPhone or Android) or a dedicated modem with a SIM card. Refer to the provided resources for detailed setup instructions.

Connect to your chosen Wi-Fi network via the VLINE settings menu.

Google Apps and Maps

Install Google Apps (GApps) to access the Google Play Store for downloading applications and enabling voice assistant features. Follow the step-by-step guide to install GApps and sign into your Google account.

Customize your navigation experience by installing preferred map applications from the Play Store and setting them as default within the VLINE settings.

Utilize the voice activation button for hands-free navigation commands. You can also customize the text-to-speech voice for a more personalized experience.

Media Plugins

VLINE offers various media plugins for an enhanced in-car entertainment experience. These include Spotify (requires Premium account), Web Radio, Google Music (for purchased/uploaded content), Local Music (from USB/MicroSD), and A2DP Bluetooth streaming.

Add plugins to your home screen by selecting an empty '+' icon and choosing the desired plugin from the available list.

Software Updates

Keep your VLINE system up-to-date with the latest features and bug fixes through Over-The-Air (OTA) software updates. It is recommended to perform updates using a stable Wi-Fi connection.
