Grounding Instructions:
Appliance must be connected to a grounded metal permanent wiring system or equipment-grounding conductor. Power cord models must be grounded via a 3-prong plug into an appropriate outlet.
For power cord models, do not modify plug; have qualified technician install proper outlet. Wiring may enter from side, rear, or floor. Cut 1-1/2" (3.8cm) max hole for cable. Metal walls need bushing. Power cords with plugs need separate holes. Electrical connection is at right front of dishwasher. Permanent connections: cable ≥ 24" (61cm) from rear wall. Power cord connections: 3-prong receptacle in sink cabinet rear wall, 6-18" (15-46cm) from opening, 6-18" (15-46cm) above floor. Diagram shows alternate receptacle location and wiring area dimensions for electrical connections.
Prepare Hot Water Line
Hot water line may enter from side, rear, or floor. May pass through same hole as electrical/drain hose, or separate 1-1/2" (3.8cm) hole. If power cord is used, water line must not pass through its hole. Diagram shows hot water line routing and shut-off valve placement with dimensions.
Water Line Connection:
- Turn off water supply.
- Install accessible hand shut-off valve (recommended).
- Connect water line (3/8" min copper tubing) to left side of dishwasher, extending ≥ 19" (48.2cm) from rear wall.
- Adjust water heater to 120-150°F (49-65°C).
- Flush water line to clean debris.
- Supply pressure: 20-120 PSI (1.4-8.3 bars).
