New Features
Agency Data Dashboard [VVM-52187, VVM-50177, VVM-49971, VVM-49943, VVM-49134]
The new Dashboard page allows Agency Managers to visualize, organize, and export detailed information about their Agency's LPR data and camera systems. Agency Managers can access the Dashboard from the Left Navigation Bar. The new Dashboard includes the following useful features:
- System status tiles that provide LPR system status at-a-glance.
- Moveable, configurable tiles displaying graphs, tables, and maps of selected information.
- Data Filters to select the specific sources of the data displayed.
- Report scheduler for automatic report creation.
The dashboard displays system status tiles for 'All systems', 'Fixed systems', '3rd party systems', 'Mobile systems', and 'Standalone', showing detection counts and status (Offline, Warning, Online). It also includes a 'Detections trend' line graph, a 'Hit ratio trend' pie chart, a 'Map' view with a camera icon, and trend/accuracy charts.
For more information on using this feature, see the Dashboard Quick Start Guide.
Case Management [VVM-50755, VVM-50093, VVM-50094]
The new Case Management page allows you to store, manage, and view reports and preserved detection records created while performing searching and analytics functions. Agency Managers can view all reports and preserved records created by the Agency. Access the Case Management feature from the Left Navigation Bar.
- Reporting options with the Case Management output will save selected reports in the Reports tab with the current case number.
- Detection records owned by the Agency with the Preserve Record option will save selected records in the Preserved Records tab.
The Case Management interface shows a table listing detection records with Case ID, File name, Date created, User name, and CC Evidence. Options to download or delete reports are available.
For more information on using this feature, see the Case Management Quick Start Guide.
Automatic Browser Device Authorization [VVM-50676, VVM-50172, VVM-50092]
Two new automatic device authorization options have been added in Agency Settings. When enabled, Users and Agency Managers will not be prompted to approve device authorizations. To configure these options, log on as an Agency Manager and go to: Agency Settings → Agency Details → Audit Settings. Note: By automatically authorizing devices, you confirm that your agency has sufficient policies to ensure compliance with IA-3 of the CJIS Security Policy.
The Agency Settings screen shows various configuration options, including 'Audit settings' with checkboxes for 'Extend session timeout', 'Automatic web browser authorization', and 'Automatic device authorization'.
Density Layer Date Range Selection [VVM-51610]
Density layers in the Vehicle Search map now contain an option to set the date range for detections. This helps prevent long search times.
The map interface allows density layer selection and date range filtering, featuring a calendar view and options to specify 'From' and 'To' dates and times.
Saved Geozones [VVM-49500]
You can now save geozone polygons in map views that support drawing geozones.
A map view displays a saved geozone polygon, with tools for searching and managing map views.
Agency Contact List [VVM-49307]
The new Agency Contact List tab in My Profile contains a list of Agency Managers and their contact information for your Agency. You can contact your Agency Managers for assistance with obtaining access to features, password resets, or with questions about your VehicleManager account.
To view the Agency Manager contact list for your Agency, go to: Top Navigation Bar → User Menu → My Profile → Agency Contact List.
The 'My profile' section includes an 'Agency contact list' displaying Agency Managers' names, phone numbers, and email addresses.
Show Unique Plates [VVM-47705]
The new Show Unique Plates option in Vehicle Search Results filters out and removes duplicate plates (per day) from the detection list.
The 'Vehicle Search Results' interface shows a 'Show unique plates' option to filter duplicate license plates, demonstrating a reduction in displayed records.
View and Distribute Hot Lists Option [VVM-53062]
A new View & Distribute permission has been added at the User and Agency levels in User Management → Source Access to allow users access to view and distribute hot lists, but not to edit or delete them.
The User Management 'Source Access' table details permissions for viewing and distributing hot lists.
Camera Details in Map View Icons [VVM-49504]
A camera details popup has been added to the Vehicle Search and Dashboard map views. Clicking a fixed camera icon on the map now displays the camera name and status with an option to add the camera as a filter to the current search.
A map view shows a camera icon with a popup displaying camera details like name, status ('Online'), and an option to 'Add to search'.
