DocumentDocumentINSTALLATION GUIDE XS4 Eco.Lock SALTO XS4 ECO.Lock is an electronic locker lock, that permits to control electronically the access to the lockers by using RFID Credentials or mobile keys. When a RFID credential or a mobile key is presented to the XS4 ECO.Lock reader, the electronics will activate the internal motor that will permit the projection or retrieve of the latch to lock or unlock the locker lock. Its wireless capability (BLUEnet wireless technology) permits to have an online in real time communication from the electronic locker locks into the SALTO Systems platforms enhancing the control and the security of the systems. For locker doors that do not adhere to these measurements, or for doors with an unfixed pivot point (depending on the type of hinge used), the distance between the lock and the body of the locker must be recalculated. Please note the following information when operating outdoor: - The IP55 protection rating means that the lock is fully protected against splashing water from all directions and against the ingress of dust. - The protection class IP55 is only valid if the XS4 Eco.Lock is installed correctly and the cabinet is locked. The back of the XS4 Eco.Lock does not have increased IP protection. - Water entering the cabinet via the XS4 Eco.Lock can still occur even after installation, e.g. B. if the cabinet is exposed to heavy rain for a long period of time. In this case, water ingress is not considered a fault. - If the cabinet is to be placed in a location where it will be completely exposed to rain, it is recommended to install a "rain cover" 1 over the XS4 Eco.Lock button 2 to prevent water from entering as shown below. - The operating temperature range of the recommended battery is -25 to 55ºC. If the lock is operated in cold temperatures, the battery capacity will deteriorate as the temperature drops and recover as the temperature rises. - In cold temperatures it is also possible that the button freezes. In this case, unlock the lock by reading the data carrier and tapping the button lightly. Les serrures pour casiers XS4 ECO.Lock (IP55) peuvent être utilisés en extérieur. L'arrière du XS4 ECO.Lock n'offre pas de protection IP. - Une infiltration d'eau dans l'armoire via la serrure XS4 ECO.Lock peut tout de même se produire même après installation, par exemple si l'armoire est exposée à de fortes pluies pendant une période prolongée. Dans ce cas, l'infiltration d'eau n'est pas considérée comme un défaut. - Si l'armoire doit être placée dans un endroit totalement exposé à la pluie, il est recommandé d'installer un « cache-pluie » au-dessus du bouton de la serrure XS4 ECO.Lock pour éviter l'entrée d'eau, comme indiqué ci-dessous. - Le créneau de températures de fonctionnement des batteries recommandées est de -25 à 55ºC. Si la serrure XS4 ECO.Lock est utilisée à des températures froides, la capacité de la batterie se détériorera à mesure que la température baisse et se rétablira lorsque la température augmentera. - Par temps froid, il est également possible que le bouton gèle. Dans ce cas, déverrouillez la serrure en lisant la clef électronique et en tapotant légèrement sur le bouton. Las taquillas XS4 Eco.Lock IP55 están destinadas a su uso en exteriores.
