The Electrolux Pure A9 air purifier consists of the following parts:

Connecting to the Electrolux APP
To connect your air purifier:
- Download and install the Electrolux APP from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Follow the instructions in the app to connect your Electrolux Air Purifier.
The appliance supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi networks.

Operation Instructions
Turning On the Appliance
Plug in the appliance and tap the 'O' button to turn it on. The unit will take approximately 10 seconds to analyze air quality, during which the LED and air quality light will pulsate slowly in white. The appliance defaults to SMART mode with the fan running at low speed until the analysis is complete.
SMART Mode
In SMART mode, the fan speed is automatically adjusted based on the air quality level. Manual adjustment of fan speed is not possible in this mode.
Air Quality Light
The air quality sensor provides real-time air quality information indicated by the following light colors:

Yellow | 13-35 | Moderate |
Orange | 36-55 | Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups |
Red | 56-150 | Unhealthy |
Purple | 151-250 | Very Unhealthy |
Maroon | >250 | Hazardous |
Note: High humidity can affect sensor accuracy.
MANUAL Mode
Tap the 'MODE' button to switch to MANUAL mode. In this mode, the fan speed can be adjusted manually using the fan speed slider. The fan speed adjusts gradually after selection.
WiFi Function
The appliance features a WiFi module for full functionality via the smartphone app. The WiFi indicator lights up when connected.
Child Lock Function
Activate/deactivate the child lock by long-pressing the On/Off and Mode buttons simultaneously for 4 seconds, or via the app. When active, the control panel is unresponsive, and the child lock indicator lights up.
Filter Change Indicator
This indicator lights up after approximately 9000 hours of usage to remind you to change the filter. Refer to the app or Electrolux website for replacement filter information. Ensure the plastic protective bag is removed from the new filter before installation. The indicator will turn off automatically after replacement. The HEPA filter cannot be washed and must be replaced.
For EHAW4010AG, use SKU# ELPARAC3, PureAdvantage RAC-3 HEPA Filter™.
For EHAW6020AG, use SKU# ELPARAC4, PureAdvantage RAC-4 HEPA Filter™.
Ionizer Function
The ionizer can be activated/deactivated via the app. When active, the ionizer indicator lights up, and the appliance generates ions to improve air quality.
Schedule Function
Use the app to set schedules for the air purifier, such as adjusting fan speed for nighttime operation.
Care and Cleaning
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Plastic parts can be cleaned with an oil-free dry cloth or a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush.
- The fabric cannot be removed and should be cleaned with an oil-free dry cloth or a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush.
- Clean the Air quality sensor monthly with a vacuum cleaner and soft brush to ensure accurate readings.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, harsh cleaners, or wax.
- The HEPA Filter is not washable and must be replaced.
Storage
If the appliance will not be used for an extended period, cover it with plastic or return it to its original carton.
Troubleshooting
PROBLEM | SOLUTION |
---|---|
The air purifier does not operate. | Check power connection. Check fuse or circuit breaker. |
The air quality does not improve. | Ensure doors and windows are closed. Ensure air intake door is closed and filter is correctly installed. |
The fan does not operate. | Ensure air intake door is closed and filter is correctly installed. |
The fan speed does not change after selecting a new fan speed. | Fan speed changes gradually; this is normal. If no change occurs after a prolonged period, contact an Electrolux authorized servicer. |
The appliance is very loud. | Ensure there are no obstructions near the appliance and maintain at least 30 cm clearance. |
The appliance produces a strange smell. | A slight plastic/paint smell is normal initially and should dissipate. If the smell persists or is a burning smell, disconnect the purifier and contact an Electrolux authorized servicer. |
The app does not operate properly or onboarding fails. | Contact an Electrolux authorized servicer for support. |
Screen shows "PM sensor failure". | Contact an Electrolux authorized servicer for diagnosis and repair/replacement. |
Screen shows "TVOC sensor error". | Contact an Electrolux authorized servicer for diagnosis and repair/replacement. Purification may continue. |
Screen shows "Fan motor stall". | Unplug the unit. Check for obstructions in the fan or air discharge. If none are found and the air intake door is properly closed, contact an Electrolux authorized servicer. Do not turn on until resolved. |
Screen shows "Comm. error". | This is a communication error. Use the app for diagnosis or contact an Electrolux authorized servicer. |
Screen shows "Filter door open". | Open and re-close the back air intake cover. If the error persists, contact an Electrolux authorized servicer. |
Screen shows "RFID invalid". | Check the app to see if the filter needs replacement. If the filter is new or recently replaced and the error persists, contact an Electrolux authorized servicer. |

Limited Warranty
Electrolux provides a two-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase, covering defects in materials or workmanship for parts and repair/replacement.
Exclusions:
- Products with altered or missing serial numbers.
- Products transferred to a new owner or taken outside the USA or Canada.
- Rust on the unit.
- Products purchased "as-is".
- Products used in a commercial setting.
- Service calls not related to material or workmanship defects, or for appliances not in ordinary household use.
- Service calls for installation or user instruction.
- Expenses for making the appliance accessible for servicing.
- Service calls to replace consumables like light bulbs or filters, or cosmetic parts.
- Pickup and delivery costs.
- Surcharges for after-hour, weekend, or holiday service calls, or calls to remote areas.
- Damages to finishes incurred during transportation or installation.
- Damages caused by unauthorized service, non-genuine parts, abuse, misuse, inadequate power supply, accidents, fires, or acts of God.
Disclaimer of Implied Warranties; Limitation of Remedies
The sole remedy is repair or replacement. Implied warranties are limited to one year. Electrolux is not liable for consequential or incidental damages. Some states may not allow these limitations.
