Precautions
Read carefully before use:
- Do not use the body fat scale if you have a pacemaker or any other internal medical device in your body. The scale passes a low, harmless electrical current through your body, which may cause internal medical devices to malfunction.
- Do not use the scale on a wet surface, as this could lead to slipping.
- Dispose of the scale properly following your local regulations.
- Do not jump on the scale. This scale has a weight limit of 500 lbs.
Scale Overview
The GE Fit Plus LN Smart Body Fat Scale measures weight, BMI, body fat %, and other body compositions using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) technology. This smart scale is intended for home use only.

Get Started
Initial setup requires one-time device pairing and profile creation in the app. All data is viewable on your scale afterward without needing your phone.

Download the app and create an account
Download the "Fit Profile" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Search for "Fit Profile" or scan the QR code provided.
Note: Do not mix new and old batteries. Remove batteries if the scale will not be used for a long period.
Sign up and complete your profile.

Pair scale with smartphone
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. For Android 6.0 and above, Location must also be enabled.
Pairing is automatic, and the Bluetooth icon will display on the scale screen.
- Place the scale on a hard, flat floor surface.
- Open the "Fit Profile" app and turn on your smartphone's Bluetooth.
- In the app's home page, click "Pair the Device" or the icon in the top-right corner, tap "My Device", then tap "Smart Bathroom Scale".
- Turn on the scale by briefly stepping on and off it.
- Select "Fit Plus LN" and tap "Connect".
Your scale is now paired and ready for measurements.
Note: Ensure your height and other profile data are filled in for accurate measurements.
Pairing Steps: 1. Download Fit Profile app and register. 2. Select Unit. 3. "Pair the device" in app home page and tap your scale to connect. 4. Add height and more data, then step on the scale to measure.

Take measurements
- Open the "Fit Profile" app and keep it on the "Home" screen.
- Place the scale on a hard, flat floor surface. Do not place it on carpet or other soft surfaces.
- Turn the scale on by stepping on and off, waiting for "0.0" to display.
- Step on the scale barefoot until the buzzer beeps twice or all numbers display. Your measurement is complete, and results will appear in the app.
Multiple User Profiles
Separate Fit Profile Accounts
Users can create or log in to individual Fit Profile accounts and pair the smart scale with their personal accounts. Weight data is private and can be synced with third-party apps.
Shared Fit Profile Account
Users with a Fit Profile account can create multiple user profiles within the same account. All users can log in to the shared account on their smartphones without needing others to log out.
To add users and share your account, click the icon in the top-left corner of the app's home screen.
Note: Users sharing an account can access each other's recorded data. Only the main user's data can be synced with third-party apps.
Athlete Mode
If you have an athletic build, you can turn on Athlete Mode. Open the Fit Profile app, go to the "Me" page, tap your profile name, and select "Athlete Mode".
Switching Units
By default, the scale uses pounds (lb). It also supports kilograms (kg).
To switch units, connect the scale to the Fit Profile app, go to the "Me" page, select "Settings", then "Unit".
Measurement Tips
DO's
- Ensure personal information in your profile is correct. Choose "Athlete Mode" if you work out intensively or are muscular.
- Place the scale on a hard, flat floor surface.
- Calibrate the scale each time by waiting for "CAL" to return to "0.0" before stepping on.
- Use the scale under the same conditions and at the same time each day.
- Empty your bladder before weighing.
DON'Ts
- Do not place the scale on a carpet or soft surface.
- Do not measure with socks or shoes on.
- Do not measure when your body is wet (e.g., after a shower, bath, sauna, or strenuous exercise).
- Do not measure after drinking a lot of water or alcohol.
- Do not measure if you have a cold or fever.
