Power/Screen Saver Button: Short - press this button to activate the screen saver; long - press this button to turn off or turn on the device. 2. Mode/Settings Button: Short - press to enter the settings; long - press to switch between photo - taking/playback/video - recording modes. 3. Up Button: In the menu options, it is used to select function keys upwards; long press to turn on/off WIFI. Short - press to switch between front and rear video windows. 4. OK Button: Confirmation button for video recording and photo - taking. Function Description 1. Use the automatic recording function Start the car engine, the dashcam will automatically power on and begin recording. When the car engine is turned off, the dashcam will automatically save the recorded content and power off. The recorded footage is saved in segments on the TF card. When the TF card is full, the dashcam will overwrite the earlier recorded footage. The recording time interval can be set in the menu, with options of 1 minute / 2 minutes / 3 minutes. Friendly reminder: If you select any of the three options of '1/2/3' minutes, when the TF card is full, the dashcam will overwrite the earlier recorded footage; The front photo folder is 'image_front' The rear photo folder is 'image_back' The front video folder is 'video_front' The rear viedo folder is 'video_back' The front video locked folder is 'video_front_lock' The rear video locked folder is 'video_back_lock' 2. Use the manual recording function Press the dashcampower button, after the dashcam starts, press the confirm button to begin recording. The recording dot will flash and display the recording duration. If you need to turn off the device, long press thepower buttonfor 2 seconds, and the dashcam will automatically save the recording and shut down. 3. Date and time setting In the recording mode, enter the setup mode by selecting the driving recording mark on the screen, and choose date settings. Press the up and down button to adjust the date and time. Note: To effectively record the date and time of traffic safety incidents for evidence, please set the correct time before using this device. 4, One-click mute function In working status, short press the down button to change the recording microphone to a prohibited icon, indicating that the video recording function has been turned off. Friendly reminder: Settings will be saved automatically, and there is no need to set the mute function again after restarting. 5, Playback of recorded files (1) In the powered-on state, click the menu icon to enter the playback interface and select the desired video and photo for playback. (2) In the stopped recording screen, long press the M key to enter the playback interface and select the desired video and photo for playback. 6, Rearview imaging In the powered-on state, click the menu icon to enter system settings and select rearview imaging to enable left and right View. 7, Time-lapse monitoring (Optional ACC step-down line) Select the time-lapse monitoring function, options are 1s (one frame per second),2s (one frame every two seconds),3s (one frame every three seconds). Normal recording at 1s/30 means that selecting [1s] records for 30 minutes, which is equivalent to normal 1 minute; selecting [2s] records for 1 hour, which is equivalent to normal 1 minute; selecting [3s] records for 90 minutes, which is equivalent to normal 1 minute. Options are: [Off][1S][2S][3S]. When selecting [Off]: 1, connect the time-lapse recording line, and it will automatically shut down after disconnecting the ACC line. 2, when connected to car charging, it will automatically shut down when power is lost. The black wire of the machine ACC power reduction line connects to the negative terminal of the battery.
