How to Restore Keyboard to Default Settings

To restore the keyboard to its default settings, press and hold the Fn2 (Menu) + Esc key combination for 5 seconds. The backlight will blink red for approximately 3 seconds, indicating that the keyboard has returned to its default state.

How to Connect to the Web Driver

Follow these steps to connect to the web driver for advanced features:

  1. Visit the website: https://drunkdeer-antler.com
  2. Click on the "Connect" button.
  3. Select your keyboard model from the list (e.g., "Drunkdeer A75 US - Paired").
  4. Click the "Connect" button in the browser prompt.

Note: If the keyboard is not found, you may need to upgrade its firmware.

How to Adjust Actuation Sensitivity

You can customize the actuation sensitivity for specific keys:

  1. Select the keys you wish to adjust. For example, the WASD keys are commonly used for gaming.
  2. Set the desired actuation value. For instance, a value of 0.3mm can be set for keys like W, A, S, and D. The system displays values like 0.2, 0.1, and 0.3mm for different keys and settings.

The diagram shows a keyboard layout with numerical values under keys like W, A, S, D, and a separate menu for selecting key types (Clear, ALL, Character, Numerals, WASD). Another diagram shows a close-up of a switch component with a dimension of 0.3mm.

How to Set Up Rapid Trigger

The Rapid Trigger feature allows for minimized input latency.

  • Turbo Mode: Utilizing Turbo Mode can significantly minimize input latency. Once activated, the lighting effect will become static, and the keystroke tracking feature will be disabled.
  • Enable Rapid Trigger Mode: Adjust the key sensitivity settings.
  • Key Sensitivity Setting: This determines how far you need to release or press a key to deactivate or reactivate it.
    • Set sensitivity of Downstroke: Adjust the press depth.
    • Set sensitivity of Upstroke: Adjust the release depth.

Recommendation: Set the Sensitivity of the RT (Rapid Trigger) to 0.2MM.

Calculation Example: If AP (Actuation Point) is set to 0.5mm and RT (Rapid Trigger) is 0.1mm or 0.2mm, the shortest trigger distance will be AP + Press Sensitivity(RT) = 0.5 + 0.1 = 0.6mm.

Important: Remember to click "Save to Keyboard" after making adjustments.

About Magnetic Switches

Each key on the keyboard utilizes a magnet and a corresponding Hall sensor. When a key is pressed, the Hall sensor detects an increase in the magnetic field and outputs a signal when a specific value is reached.

The customization trigger point function allows setting the activation position of keys from 0.2 mm to 3.8 mm, enabling a personalized typing experience from a light touch to a strong press.

Users can choose to shorten the activation distance for faster response or increase it for improved typing accuracy.

Magnetic switches do not rely on physical contact, which prevents key abrasion over time and allows for hundreds of millions of presses. This technology is superior to traditional switches with metal contacts.

The diagram shows a disassembled magnetic switch, including its housing, stem, and spring.

How to Control Backlight Effect

The backlight effects can be controlled using key combinations involving the Fn2 (Menu) key:

  • Fn2 (Menu) + R: Turn on/off LED lights
  • Fn2 (Menu) + T: Turn on/off the backlight
  • Fn2 (Menu) + Y: Change the backlight color
  • Fn2 (Menu) + U: Cycle through backlight effects
  • Fn2 (Menu) + F: Decrease backlight brightness
  • Fn2 (Menu) + G: Increase backlight brightness
  • Fn2 (Menu) + H: Decrease backlight speed
  • Fn2 (Menu) + J: Increase backlight speed

The keyboard diagram highlights keys like R, T, Y, U, F, G, H, J, and Fn2 (Menu) for these functions.
