Connecting the Mirror

To connect your mirror, it must first be connected to the mains supply.

IMPORTANT: Installation must only be carried out by a qualified professional or electrician.

At the back of your mirror is a length of 3 core cable which is connected to the mirror. After fitting the fuse spur which will be used to connect the mirror to the mains, identify the EARTH, NEUTRAL and LIVE wires in both the spur and the mirror. When connecting the cables, ensure that no connections are loose, and that proper safety regulations have been followed. Leave enough cable to make moving and hanging the mirror easier. After connection, the mirror should be hung using the steps 4-7.

Product Overview

The mirror features a light bar behind the mirror and an ON/OFF touch button located at the bottom front of the mirror.

To operate, use the touch button on the front of the mirror, it is located at the bottom. Touch the button gently to turn on, and press again to switch off.

Installation

IMPORTANT: Before commencing installation, ensure that there are no pipes or wires located behind the wall that you will be drilling into.

At the back of the mirror, there are 2 hanging hooks spaced across the top. To hang the mirror, two holes are required in the wall. Before drilling, ensure that no wires or pipes are behind the wall. If unsure, seek professional advice.

  1. Measure the distance between the centre of the two hanging points.
  2. Make a note of the distance and mark their position on the wall. Use a spirit level to ensure that the marks are level.
  3. Drill the 2 holes into the wall at the position marked using a suitable drill bit.
  4. Insert the wall plugs into the holes.
  5. Insert the screws into the wall plugs, ensuring their heads are protruding by approximately 3mm.
  6. Check to ensure the screws line up correctly and the mirror can be safely hung from them.
  7. Carefully lower the mirror onto the 2 screws, ensuring that is secure and will not slide.

Safety
