Trouble-Shooting & FAQ

If the suggested solutions do not resolve your issue, please contact Seauto customer support.

Q: What kind of swimming pool is suitable?
A: In-ground pools up to 2150 sq. ft.

Q: Why doesn't the cleaner respond after turning on?
A: The battery may be depleted from long-term storage. Charge the device; the light will be solid red while charging.

Q: Why can't it climb the wall?
A1: Ensure it's not set to Floor-Only mode. Connect to the App and select the correct mode.
A2: Remove the cartridge from the basket to allow sufficient power for wall climbing.
A3: Check for debris in the filter basket. Remove and clean the basket.

Q: Why does the cleaner fall down when cleaning the waterline instead of moving down the wall?
A: If the pool has an infinity edge or a protruding edge near the waterline, the cleaner may not fit perfectly and could fall.

Q: Why does the cleaner sit at the bottom of the pool or move slowly?
A1: It might be caught on a floor drain. The cleaner will attempt to free itself. If stuck, use a pole to assist.
A2: If placed in a very dirty pool, it may quickly accumulate debris. Check and clean the filters.

Q: Why does the front part float while the rear part stays on the floor?
A: This is an intelligent feature designed to help the cleaner break free from being stuck.

Q: Why can't my phone connect to the robot?
A: Ensure the machine is on, Bluetooth is enabled on your phone, both devices are within Wi-Fi coverage, and your phone is within 16.4 ft (5 m) of the cleaner.

Q: Why can't the cleaner clean the wall or waterline in All-cover Mode?
A1: Excessive debris in the filter basket may reduce movement power.
A2: The cartridge might be in the basket. Remove it to improve wall-climbing ability.

Q: Is it possible to use the cleaner without a Wi-Fi connection?
A: Yes, the cleaner operates in All-cover mode by default without Wi-Fi. Other modes can be selected via the App or the switch button.

Q: Is it possible to connect the cleaner to the App without a Wi-Fi connection?
A: No, a Wi-Fi connection is required for the App, along with Bluetooth on your phone.

Q: How many smart phones can be connected to 1 cleaner?
A: Only one smartphone can be connected at a time. To connect a different phone, reset the cleaner or remove it from the App.

Q: What does the yellow or white light indicate?
A: Yellow light: Indicates a problem (e.g., over-current due to being stuck, or failure to start). Remove and restart the cleaner.
White light: Indicates firmware update via Wi-Fi. Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged and Wi-Fi remains connected during the update.

Q: How can I get replacement accessories?
A: Contact your purchase channel, visit the Seauto website, or call customer support.

Q: How can I buy a long pole and what size is it?
A: The included hook fits a standard pole with a 1-1/4" (25-32 mm) diameter connection end. Poles are available at local markets or online.

Q: Why are there water droplets inside a newly purchased machine?
A: The machine undergoes rigorous testing, including underwater tests, before shipping. Residual water is normal; the device is safe to use.

Q: Why does the cleaner automatically switch off after a few hours of charging?
A: The cleaner is designed to automatically shut off 10 minutes after full charge to protect the battery and extend its lifespan.
