Crossover Features
PC1000.1D / PC1800.1D
These amplifiers feature adjustable crossover controls. GAIN adjusts the input signal level. BASS BOOST provides a selectable bass enhancement. FREQ sets the crossover point between 32Hz and 300Hz. HPF (High-Pass Filter) and LPF (Low-Pass Filter) allow for frequency range selection. PHASE offers a selectable 0° or 180° phase shift. The SUBSONIC filter operates between 17Hz and 50Hz to protect speakers from infrasonic signals.
PC500.4D / PC700.4D
These amplifiers offer versatile crossover settings. GAIN controls the input signal level. BASS BOOST provides adjustable bass enhancement. FREQ sets the crossover point for the Low-Pass Filter (LPF) from 32Hz to 300Hz. HPF (High-Pass Filter) and LPF (Low-Pass Filter) are adjustable for channels CH1-CH2 and CH3-CH4 independently. PHASE allows for a 0° or 180° phase shift selection for CH1-CH2 and CH3-CH4. RAT MODE is a selectable mode for amplifier operation.
PC1000.5D
The PC1000.5D features separate controls for channel groups. GAIN adjusts input signal level for CH1-CH4 and CH5. BASS BOOST enhances low frequencies for CH5. FREQ sets the crossover point for CH1-CH4 (High-Pass Filter) from 50Hz to 250Hz, and for CH5 (Low-Pass Filter) from 32Hz to 250Hz. The SUBSONIC filter for CH5 operates between 17Hz and 50Hz. PHASE offers a 0° or 180° phase shift selection for CH1-CH2 and CH3-CH4. RAT MODE is a selectable mode for amplifier operation.
Wiring and Connections
Stereo Mode Connections
PC1000.1D / PC1800.1D
A Source Unit (car stereo head unit) connects via RCA cables to the amplifier's CH1 and CH2 INPUT jacks. These are low-level inputs driven by the line output of the head unit or a signal processor.
PC500.4D / PC700.4D
A Source Unit connects via RCA cables to the amplifier's CH1, CH2, CH3, and CH4 INPUT jacks. These are low-level inputs driven by the line output of the head unit or a signal processor.
PC1000.5D
A Source Unit connects via RCA cables to the amplifier's CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4, CH5L, and CH5R INPUT jacks. These are low-level inputs. Separate Left and Right signals can be applied for Stereo or Mono operation, but both inputs must be driven with the same signal for proper Bridged operation.
Speaker Connections
PC1000.1D / PC1800.1D
A subwoofer (rated 1-4 Ohm) connects to the amplifier's SPEAKER OUT terminals. Power connections include 12V (constant power), GND (ground), and REM (remote turn-on) terminals.
PC500.4D / PC700.4D (Stereo)
Four speakers (rated 2-4 Ohm each) connect to the amplifier's SPEAKER OUT terminals for CH1, CH2, CH3, and CH4 respectively. Each speaker connects to its corresponding channel output with the [positive terminal] and [negative terminal] correctly oriented.
PC500.4D / PC700.4D (Mono Bridged)
A mono speaker (rated 4-8 Ohm) connects to the bridged SPEAKER OUT terminals (e.g., CH1+CH2 or CH3+CH4). Ensure correct polarity for the [positive terminal] and [negative terminal] of the speaker.
PC1000.5D
Four speakers (rated 2-4 Ohm each) connect to the SPEAKER OUT terminals for CH1, CH2, CH3, and CH4. A fifth speaker (rated 2-4 Ohm) connects to the SPEAKER OUT terminal for CH5. Ensure correct polarity for the [positive terminal] and [negative terminal] of each speaker.
