Daily Operation & Cleaning Guide
Daily Operation
- Place strainer and scrap basket into the dishwasher. Make sure to line up arrows.
- Close the door. Push POWER button.
- When fill is complete, the readout will display READY.
- Select the WASH CYCLE: 1, 2, 4, 6 minutes. To load a dishrack, open the door and slide the rack in the machine.
- Close the door, the machine will start automatically. The PLAY button turns blue, and a progress bar will appear at the bottom of the screen.
- Once the screen shows a check mark and reads CYCLE COMPLETED, the dishrack may be removed.
- To power off machine and drain, hold the POWER button down for 5 seconds.
Wash Cycle Display:
- Wash
- Rinse
- Delime (Détartrage)
- Condense (Ventless)
- Complete
Current Wash Temperature: 163°F
Daily Cleaning
- Spray down the inside of the machine and scrub any hard-to-reach spots with a clean, damp cloth.
- Remove rack track, strainer, scrap basket and ASR basket* to clean and rinse.
- Make sure the upper and lower wash and rinse arms rotate freely and are clear of any obstructions.
- Re-assemble the machine:
a. Replace strainer and scrap basket,
b. Install wash and rinse arms (if removed)
c. Replace rack track
d. Replace ASR basket* if necessary - Close the door. Hold the POWER button for 5 seconds to shut down. Power button will turn half green and lights will turn off when machine is fully drained.
- After machine is drained, open hood and clean inside of the machine with a damp cloth.
- If there is water remaining in the tank, drain remaining water by holding down the DRAIN button for 3 seconds while the machine is off.
- After cleaning, wipe down machine exterior with a damp cloth. Open machine door.

Operational Tips - Get the Most Out of Your Dishwasher
Pre-Scrap Dishes
Spray down dishes to remove loose food particles before loading.
Use Commercial Dishmachine Chemicals Only
Do not use any other chemicals with the dishmachine. Use PPE for handling.
Delime the Machine
The unit will alert you when deliming is required. When prompted, follow the instructions on the display. Note: Delime instructions will vary based on model. Scan QR code for more information.
Proper Racking
Proper racking will provide the best cleaning results.
DO NOT OVERLOAD RACK
Replacing Chemicals
- When the machine is out of SANITIZER or DETERGENT, an alarm will sound & the machine will automatically pause operation. SANITIZER EMPTY or DETERGENT EMPTY and an ICON display on the machine control screen.
- Replace the sanitizer or detergent. NOTE: Use only commercial detergents & sanitizers with the AM16.
- Chemical pumps will prime automatically once the ENTER button is pressed.
